Ricky Martin's Twin Boys Are His Toughest Critics
Ricky Martin is a Grammy Award-winning Puerto Rican singer-songwriter. He began his career as a member of the boy band Menudo in 1984. After five years with the group, Martin went solo and released his self-titled, Spanish-speaking debut album in 1991. During the late 1990s/early 2000s, Martin helped popularize Latin pop music in the U.S. with such hit songs as "The Cup of Life" and "Livin' la Vida Loca." He has released 10 studio albums over the course of his career, with his most recent being 2015's A Quien Quiera Escuchar. The album debuted at No. 1 atop Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, becoming his sixth album to do so. Martin's latest single, "Vente Pa' Ca," features Maluma and reached No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart.
