Bill Cosby is a renowned comedian and actor. He began performing stand-up in the 1960s, releasing a series of best-selling comedy albums that eventually won five Grammy Awards. On the small screen, Cosby became a three-time Emmy winner for his work on the series I Spy, on which he starred from 1965 to 1968. Three years later, Cosby joined children's show The Electric Company and, soon after, created the educational program Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. In 1984, Cosby premiered his most iconic body of work, The Cosby Show, which would become the No. 1 show in America. Following its eight-season run, the actor starred in another self-titled sitcom, Cosby, from 1996 to 2000.
