Former “American Idol” Hopeful Chris Medina To Perform On Friday

Hey Tonight Show and Idol fans - great news from our Press Department:

“American Idol” hopeful Chris Medina is scheduled to perform on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” tomorrow, February 25th. Rickey Minor and The Tonight Show Band will accompany Medina on “What Are Words” - a song inspired by Medina’s love story.

On our show last night Randy Jackson predicted a few audience favorites would be leaving Idol this week. Unfortunately, Chris Medina, who’d captured America’s attention with his heart-wrenching story was eliminated.
