New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has held the state's highest office since 2010 and was reelected for his second term in 2013. A lifelong resident of the Garden State, Christie was born in Newark and raised in Livingston before attending the University of Delaware. He then returned to N.J. to attend Seton Hall University School of Law, from which he graduated in 1987. Ten yeas later, he was elected a Freeholder in Morris County and was named U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey in 2002. Christie and his wife Mary Pat have been married since 1986 and are parents to four children, Andrew, Sarah, Patrick and Bridget. Visit the governor's website here.
