Chris Rock

Chris Rock is a stand-up comedian and actor who got his start as a cast member on Saturday Night Live in 1990. He left the show three years later, briefly appearing on competing sketch comedy show In Living Color, before returning to stand-up. His partnership with HBO for five comedy specials, 1994's Big Ass Jokes, 1996's Bring the Pain, 1999's Bigger & Blacker, 2004's Never Scared and 2009's Don't Kill the Messenger, along with his self-titled talk show earned Rock four Emmy Awards. With his star on the rise, Rock also broke into Hollywood, starring in Lethal Weapon 4, The Longest Yard and Grown Ups and voicing a character in the animated Madagascar franchise.
