Ariane Rinehart

Ariane Rinehart makes her television debut as Liesl von Trapp in NBC's live three-hour telecast of "The Sound of Music," based on the original Broadway musical. The production is executive produced by Neil Meron and Craig Zadan and will air on December 5 at 8/7c. Carrie Underwood, Stephen Moyer, Laura Benanti, Audra McDonald and Christian Borle also star.

Rinehart makes her feature film debut playing Eve in Paramount Picture's upcoming "Noah," directed by Darren Aronofsky. She recently wrapped the independent film "Mi America." Rinehart is featured in the music video for Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors." Originally from St. Louis, Rinehart has performed in many productions with the MUNY, Stages St. Louis and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, including "The Jungle Book," "Gypsy" and "The Sound of Music." With the St. Louis Ballet, she has performed the roles of Clara in "The Nutcracker" and the Young Jester in "Swan Lake."  Rinehart is currently based in New York and studies at Barnard College.
