Jeananne Goossen plays Krista on the NBC medical drama "The Night Shift."
Smart, beautiful and as comfortable with her sensuality as she is with a scalpel, Krista is a skilled surgical resident with something to prove.
The Canadian-born Goossen is best known for prominent recurring roles on several series, including "Alcatraz," "NCIS," "CSI: NY" and "Emily Owens, M.D."
Recently, Goossen starred in the hacker thriller "Debug," opposite Jason Momoa. The film centers around six young computer hackers sent to work on a derelict space freighter who are forced to match wits with a vengeful artificial intelligence. She was also featured in the independent film "This Last Lonely Place," opposite Rhys Coiro, which premiered at the Newport Film Festival to rave reviews. She was also prominently featured in the Screen Gems hit "The Vow," opposite Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum.
Goossen is half Chinese, speaks fluent Japanese and is trained in martial arts. She is also an accomplished singer and recently released her first single. Prior to her acting career, she studied biochemistry at McGill University in Montreal.
