New York City comedian Greg Giraldo is known for his eloquent and often acid wit. A regular of Comedy Central's celebrity roasts, he's been a frequent guest on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn," "Z Rock," "Common Law," and his own "The Greg Giraldo Show. A prolific writer as well as performer, he has also hosted numerous specials, including 2009's "Greg Giraldo: Midlife Vices."
Born in Queens, New York to immigrant parents, Giraldo exhibited a gift for both comedy and academics early on. Following high school, he attended Columbia University and later graduated from Harvard Law School. He worked as a practicing attorney briefly before devoting himself to comedy full time. His standup routines are known for their dark, observational humor and acerbic rants; his no-holds-barred style makes him an in demand performer at clubs and colleges nationwide. When not on the road, he can frequently be found headlining New York City's premier comedy clubs.
