About Tom Papa
As a seasoned stand-up comedian, Papa is a familiar face to late night television, having appeared a number of times on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Show with David Letterman" and also as a frequent guest on "Conan." After sharing the stage with Jerry Seinfeld on his tour, Papa was personally chosen by Seinfeld to serve as the host of NBC's "The Marriage Ref" which is going into its second season. Papa has starred in two stand-up specials on Comedy Central, and his next special is due out next year.
As an actor, Papa has starred opposite Matt Damon in the Soderbergh film, "The Informant!" and opposite Paul Giamatti in the animated feature, "The Haunted World of El Super Beasto," as the voice of the title character. Additionally, he lent his voice to the DreamWorks animated feature "Bee Movie" and also served as a writer on the project. His other big screen credits include the films "Analyze That" opposite Robert DeNiro and "Comedian."
Additional television credits include a recurring role opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus on the CBS series, "The New Adventures of Old Christine." Papa continues to tour nationally as a stand-up comedian.
