The Situation

Ghostbusted

John Argie loves his marriage of 10 years. His wife Theresa is his best friend. He can tell her anything, and she'll make him laugh and give him some perspective. But Theresa is looking for someone outside of her marriage and out of this world… because she's a ghost hunter!

Theresa spends most of her spare time, nights especially, hunting ghosts, which means less time with John and the kids. John thinks ghost hunting is a hobby, like skiing, but Theresa believes that it's a job; she's helping people, even if they're dead. "Until John has one true paranormal experience," she explains, "he's going to have a problem with me doing this."

Tom wants to know who's crazier -- Theresa, who's looking for ghosts, or John, who's jealous of them? Kathy claims she would hire Theresa to track down the ghost of her career. Tracy thinks Theresa's equipment is too old to track ghosts, and Tom agrees. Her K2 meter looks like the gizmo that tells you your table at Applebee's is ready. Tracy admits there's one ghost he'd like to meet: Ernest Borgnine, who may well be his biological father.

DID THE REF MAKE THE RIGHT CALL?

Both Nathan and Kathy side with John. Kathy recommends that Theresa limit her ghost hunting to one or two nights a year, like Halloween. Tracy sides with Theresa, mainly because he loves the "Ghostbusters" movies. Tom calls the Argies to lay down the law. When a couple gets married, they promise to stay together "'til death do they part," which would be a better time for Theresa to resume her ghost hunt. John wins!
