James Dempsey is the head of one of the largest and most profitable pharmaceutical companies in the world. He is also a branch on the family tree of sentinels tasked with protecting the human race from alien invasions. He has used a secret division within his company to experiment on hybrid children’s DNA in the hope of extending his life, and thus being able to protect the human race from the next arrival from above.
