Eric F. Trump


As executive vice president of development and acquisitions at The Trump Organization, Eric is responsible for all new project acquisition and development throughout the world and directly oversees the company's portfolio of properties, containing more than 70 global projects.

Alongside his father, Eric has spearheaded the number of golf properties from three - when he joined the company in 2006 - to more than 16 today. With multiple Trump National and International Golf courses in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Scotland, as well as courses in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, California, Miami, Puerto Rico and Ireland, Eric regularly identifies and pursues distressed golf properties for global expansion. He is directly responsible for overseeing the construction teams and daily operations at each Trump National and International Golf Club to ensure the courses and clubhouses are maintained to the highest caliber of Trump standards in order to advance membership and quality. Recently, Eric led the renovation of the newly acquired Trump National Doral Miami and its famed Blue Monster course, with his sister, Ivanka.

Eric and his siblings, Donald Jr. and Ivanka, are also credited with the creation of the Trump Hotel Collection™, the award-winning hotel management company, established in 2007. The Trump Hotel Collection™ builds on the success of the flagship Trump International Hotel & Tower New York, the only two-time award-winning Forbes Five Star property in New York City. Eric is directly responsible for the ongoing management of several award-winning Trump properties, including in New York (Central Park and SoHo), Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, Waikiki, Panama, Toronto, Vancouver, Doral, Doonbeg and Turnberry.

Additionally, Eric oversees the global expansion and operation of the Trump International Realty offices and is currently charged with the development of five major additions to the Trump Hotel Collection, including Trump Tower Punta del Este (Uruguay), Trump Tower at Century City (Philippines), Trump International Hotel & Tower (Rio de Janeiro), Trump Turnberry (Scotland) and Trump International Golf Links & Hotel, Doonbeg (Ireland). Eric was also instrumental in the construction of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, one of the tallest residential buildings in North America.

Eric actively pursues business ventures and opportunities on his own, including his latest project, Trump Winery, a leading manufacturer of award-winning East Coast wines, based in Charlottesville, Virginia. In Eric's role as president, he works in all aspects, from winemaking and marketing to global distribution and sales. In 2013, Wine Enthusiast Magazine awarded Eric with its Rising Star of the Year Award.

Eric is a respected authority in the business sector and regularly delivers keynote speeches at international business, winery and real estate conferences around the world. In 2012, Eric was recognized by Forbes magazine among their top "30 Under 30" in real estate and by the New York Observer as one of the "20 Most Important Young Philanthropists." Eric was a prominent fixture on Donald J. Trump’s Fabulous World of Golf, which aired on The Golf Channel. He also appears as a task advisor and boardroom judge on NBC's hit show The Celebrity Apprentice.

In 2006, he founded The Eric Trump Foundation, which has donated and pledged nearly $28 million to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Recently, the foundation financed the construction of The Eric Trump Foundation Surgical and ICU Center, a state-of-the-art medical center opening at St. Jude in 2015. In 2012, The Eric Trump Foundation Cancer Research Lab made a groundbreaking discovery and identified a critical fusion gene responsible for almost 30% of a rare type of childhood leukemia.

Eric is also a generous supporter of several other philanthropic organizations, including The Little Baby Face Foundation, Animal Aid USA, The Staten Island Zoological Society, The American Heart Association, The NephCure Foundation and North Shore Animal League America.

He graduated with honors from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. with a degree in finance and management.
