Patrick Portman is a Palm City native and a family man. Like Vince Faraday, he loves his city and hates seeing the corruption that has taken hold of it. His willingness to stand up and fight back makes him a natural recruit for The Cape's cause.
Mr. Portman is the Secretary for the Bureau of Prisons, a government position which entails oversight of the Palm City prisons and all law enforcement entities outside of the Palm City Police Department, including the Port Authority. After earning a law degree, Mr. Portman practiced briefly with the city attorney's office before moving over to the policy side of things, so he has particular insight into the legal nuances he encounters in his work. While Mr. Portman doesn't have specific aspirations to higher office, he is willing to serve where needed for the good of his city.
