Becky has struggled with weight her whole life. Poor diet, no exercise, too much fast food and having four children in an eight-year period all contributed to her weight gain; and at age 51 and 238 pounds, she knows the clock is ticking, and she needs to learn to live a healthier life. A family history of diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and heart issues makes it even more critical for her to lose the weight. Becky was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois with an older brother. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in education and has been teaching in Arkansas schools for almost 25 years. She sees children in her school every day who are overweight and hopes to become a role model for them, as well as a teacher of healthy life habits for her students. Once she loses the weight, she looks forward to going water skiing and just living a long healthy life with her husband of 28 years and her children.
