Thirteen-year-old Noah "Biingo" Gray describes himself as "a skinny kid trying to get out of a fat teenager's body." Noah was born and raised in New Windsor, Maryland, where he lives with his parents and his older sister. Weight became an issue for Biingo at age 10, when his family had to move to Virginia after his father changed jobs. It was then that he turned to food for comfort to deal with the stress of all the changes for his family and the teasing that subsequently began at his new school. He moved back to the same school in Maryland six months later, but by that point, the weight gain had started. Biingo has faced many challenges because of his weight, including being the last one picked for games and teams, being a slow runner and not being able to keep up with his friends in all the activities he enjoys. Though he is well liked, he has also experienced teasing because of his size. It was Biingo's idea to go on "The Biggest Loser," where he hopes to gain motivation for losing weight, to have a support group and to become a role model to others. "I'm just a normal teenager," he says, "and someone who other kids will be able to relate to." Currently in the eighth grade, Biingo is in an after-school sports club and is also a peer mediator, helping to settle disagreements among students. He enjoys playing computer games and volleyball with his family, and he has a true passion for baseball, hoping one day to be a professional baseball player. When he gets healthy, Biingo looks forward to running around the bases in his favorite sport without getting tired, going swimming without a shirt on, keeping up with his friends and having a girlfriend.
