Cheryl Forberg, RD
A James Beard Award-winning chef and one of the nation's leading advisors on health and nutrition, Cheryl Forberg is the chef and nutritionist for NBC's "The Biggest Loser." Forberg's role is to help overweight contestants transform their bodies, their health and, ultimately, their lives. She co-wrote the eating plan for the show, has shared cooking and nutrition tips with the contestants for 16 seasons and has written or contributed to all of the books in the New York Times best-selling "Biggest Loser" series.
Forberg has also authored or co-authored other books, including her 2015 book, "A Small Guide to Losing Big." One of a handful of professional chefs who is also a registered dietitian, Forberg has had her writing and recipes appear in mainstream culinary and health publications, including Men's Health, Women's Health, Cooking Light and Prevention magazines as well as the Washington Post. She is a blogger for the Huffington Post and was recently named one of America's 100 Most Influential People in Health and Fitness. Forberg strongly believes you don't have to sacrifice flavor to eat well and that eating well can change your life. She lives in Napa, California, with her boyfriend, seven chickens and two dogs.
