Hey Apprentice Fans. Hope you all enjoyed last night's episode! We began this week with Lisa bringing home a win for GMHC, a great charity that she is very passionate about. Last week was a tough week emotionally for Lisa so I think this was a much-needed boost.

My father met the teams in Trump Tower in his home, which is a rare setting for task delivery. I think the teams were in awe of the decor and the views, which are incredible. Hopefully, they soaked it all in as they would need that inspiration for the next task. My brother, Eric, and George were joined by our executives this week, Martine from Macy's and Cathy from our licensing division of the Trump Organization. The teams were tasked with creating an in-store display and presentation for Success by Trump, my father's new fragrance, launching exclusively at Macy's. The teams selected their project managers, and it was round two for Aubrey and Clay. The pressure was on not only because this was my father's fragrance but also because he upped the ante by increasing the winner's potential earnings to $100,000. However, the $100,000 would only be granted to the PM that created something that my father loved.

The teams split off and began brainstorming. It was between Clay and Penn to take on this task as PM and Penn seemed uncomfortable with the task and yet had quite a few ideas for the team. It was interesting to see that he was not confident in being PM but certainly found his voice and ideas while in the war room. It was decided early on that Dayana would be the face of the campaign, which in my opinion was a smart move. Nothing bothers me more than when the celebrities don't utilize their own talents for certain tasks.

Aubrey was feeling less than thrilled with her teammates, Arsenio and Theresa. Creatively and in the brainstorming process, Arsenio has performed quite strongly, and in the past, the two have had issues. I was looking forward to seeing how they would interact and if they would end up playing "tug of war" between concepts. As the teams get smaller and smaller, it is harder to avoid those people that you don't necessarily "mesh" with, and whether you like your teammates or not, tasks of these magnitude often require all hands on deck.

The teams both decided to incorporate a building theme which, given that we are in the real estate business, made perfect sense. Now finding the interesting and attractive twist on a display with a building/skyline theme would be the challenge. The executives reiterated that it was important to create something that was true to the Trump brand. The team came up with using Dayana in the campaign and Penn contributed the slogan, "You Earned It." Clay was hesitant to take the first idea but also felt he should manage by consensus. That to me was a slippery slope. As the project manager, you are often on the chopping block for the main theme so if you don't believe in it completely, and should you lose, it will be hard to defend yourself in the Boardroom.

Aubrey and Arsenio were having trouble reaching the same definition of success, but unlike Clay, Aubrey was not leading by consensus and was making the decisions for her team. Aubrey came up with a few ideas, one of which was, "Trust Your Instincts" a concept backed up by Arsenio when he found a video online with my father quoted saying just that. As the team arrived at the studio to begin building the set, Aubrey couldn't get rid of her team fast enough, sending both Theresa and Arsenio on a fabric run. Clearly you do not need two people to do that job but, Aubrey wanted to take this one on herself, which, if she lost, would mean that the decision could be quite clear. The team also decided to incorporate a silhouette of my brother Eric. I wasn't sure I understood where they were going with that one but was looking forward to seeing how they executed.

Over on Clay's team, Lisa and Dayana were getting along quite well, and Lisa was almost being nice, a far cry from last week's puppet show meltdown. Clay was having a tough time making a decision on certain materials and as the celebrities should know by now, there is never enough time on the clock. After selecting their hopefully winning shot of Dayana, they were off painting and building their set. Dayana suggested creating "takeaway" pieces for the display, but Clay shot down idea due to the timing restriction.

It was time for the teams' presentations, which they should be quite comfortable making this far along into the season. However, Clay seemed to have forgotten about that element. He delivered a short introduction on their display and opened the floor up a little too early for questions. The awkward presentation likely felt like hours when in reality it was only a few minutes or so. Aubrey's team had a bit more polished presentation incorporating all three team members. Theresa and Arsenio were likely thrilled about this as I am sure the expectation was that they wouldn't be involved given their assignments this week or lack thereof.

The teams arrived in the Boardroom both feeling very confident in what they had put together this week. Clay was very happy with all of his team members and Lisa went as far as to say that he is in the top 2 of the PMs she has worked with thus far on the show. Aubrey also expressed that her team was incredibly supportive and also went as far as to say "they all did the work." I was curious to see if this would change if their team lost. However, we wouldn't be able to find out as my father announced that Aubrey's team had won this task. This was a very tough call as there were so many elements that the executives and my father liked from each team. Essentially, if you could blend the two concepts, I believe they could have had something incredible.

There was really no loser this week. Well... one person would be fired, but my father did generously give $10,000 to each of the celebrities as he thought they all did a great job, and then gave $40,000 to the winning PM. The winning team exited the Boardroom and that meant that Clay, Lisa, Penn and Dayana (for the sixth time!) would be left to battle it out.

It was a very tough decision and one that I did not envy my father making. The executives hated the slogan that Penn came up with. They felt that it was pompous and not in line with the brand messaging. Ultimately Penn was fired given that this was the element that was most disliked by the executives and really a detriment to their task. Clay was not off the hook this week and I hope that he learned a valuable lesson about leading by consensus and not taking the reins as project manager.

I hope you all enjoyed this week's Celebrity Apprentice! Looking forward to next week already, which looks like it will be a tough week for Dayana. It seems she will not only drive Lisa to explode yet again but also Clay this time! Hope you will tune in with me live on Twitter www.twitter.com/donaldjtrumpjr

Hey Apprentice fans! I hope you all enjoyed Sunday's episode. This week started with a particularly interesting performance by Arsenio, who, normally quite calm, was flying off the handle and enraged by his issues with Aubrey. The drama continued between Lisa and Dayana... and quite frankly, I was concerned with Lisa and Dayana being in the same room. Lisa continued by beating down Arsenio for his comments about Aubrey. Given these explosive dynamics, I was very much looking forward to the task ahead, which was for Entertainment.com... quite fitting!

This week, the teams were tasked with creating a 60-second commercial for Entertainment.com. As we delivered the task to the teams, Dayana stepped up rather quickly without consulting with her team, causing one of probably a hundred eye rolls from Lisa. On the other team, Teresa quickly volunteered to lead Aubrey, Clay, Arsenio and Paul Sr. Given the drama last week, I was hoping that Teresa could maintain control and bring home a win considering her first loss as PM was by $14 dollars.

The teams split up, and Lisa was less than thrilled to be "stuck" with Lou and Dayana. However, as the day went on, once they formalized their concept, Dayana and Lisa seemed to be working well together. Perhaps it took Dayana stepping up as PM to control the situation and hopefully earn her keep for another week in the Boardroom. Over on Team Unanimous, Paul Sr. stepped into a new role, losing his cut off T-shirt and jeans and adding a nice pullover sweater. I thought it was pretty clever to utilize the talent that they had available, and it seemed that the team was getting along well. Their concept however pushed the envelope, which concerned Teresa, but they went ahead with it anyways. If that is a criticism from the executives, then Teresa's head may very well be on the chopping block.

Team Forte's concept was going well, and they seemed to all - shockingly - be enjoying themselves! Lou however did feel hurt that his ideas were not being utilized, although it looked to me that he may have been trying to compensate for his lack of computer skills. Dayana put him to work on banners, but he did not know how to execute, contributing very little to the team. It seemed that Dayana was in control, but the major elements were driven by her much more outspoken teammates, Lisa and Penn. Interesting tactic and I was curious to see how it all would unfold in the Boardroom. Lisa's opinion of Lou was further solidified on this task, and I knew that she would have a lot to say to my father when asked how he performed on this task.

As Teresa and her team headed to the editing room, I was concerned about their timing. As usual, the clock was getting the best of them, and I truthfully didn't think they would have time to finish. They finally were able to put something together though that looked great. Aubrey voiced a few very large edits that, from a timing perspective, could not be made. Clay was thinking that this could have been another strategy for the Boardroom. As every season goes by, it's interesting to watch the moves that are made as the competition gets tougher. All of the team members are constantly analyzing each other's every move and strategizing as to how to avoid those two words in the Boardroom.

The teams made their presentations, and I thought both did a great job. They were different types of commercials but both were entertaining. It was time for the Boardroom where Ivanka and I would deliver the ultimate feedback from the executives.

We began the Boardroom this week with my father asking Dayana if she had a weak player, and she ultimately responded that it would be Lou, a common thread for the past couple of tasks, aside from Week 5 when he danced his way into a win. There was a lot of tension between Lou and Lisa, Lou threatening that if Lisa was a man he would have thrown her through the wall for calling him a loser. Not a great look on either side. Lisa however did change her opinion of Dayana and almost... complimented her? A far cry from earlier tasks.

Over on Team Forte, it was much more peaceful than last week, and they all seemed to get along, not calling out any particular team member for not stepping up. We showed off the teams' videos and discussed why Dayana didn't put herself in the video. Lou chimed in that he suggested it, with Lisa firing back that he only speaks up while in the Boardroom. From that moment on, I knew that Lisa had it out for Lou during this Boardroom and would not let him get away with any notion that he put in his standard "110%" for this task.

When we asked the teams who they thought had the better commercial, generally out of hard work and pride the teams almost always choose their own commercial or work. Well, not this week. Lou actually stated that he liked Teresa's commercial better. I knew that we would certainly be discussing this in further detail if Dayana's team lost. We delivered the results, and ultimately the judges felt that Team Forte, led by Teresa, had a better commercial. It was a great win for Teresa and the NephCure Foundation, an incredible cause. My father excused Team Forte from the Boardroom and it was time for Lou, Dayana, Lisa and Penn to battle it out.

Considering that Penn had to leave during the task for a prior commitment, Dayana did not feel that he should have to stay in the Boardroom. So he was safe and headed back to the war rooms. Between Dayana, Lou and Lisa it was a tough choice. Dayana was the PM, and when you lose the task as a PM, much of the burden falls on your shoulders. However, Lisa being very vocal and constantly controlling the creative process could make her at fault this week. Overall though, it was clear that Lou did not contribute very much, and his comment about preferring the other team's commercial showed huge disloyalty. Each week, Lou prides himself on being a team player and yet this week he displayed just the opposite. Growing up, my father emphasized loyalty as being immensely important, and especially in our company, that is something we will never waver on. I think Lou is a great guy with a lot of fight, but unfortunately this week he showed a side which would not take him on to the next week.

I hope you all enjoyed this week's episode. Looking forward to next week already; the competition gets even tougher, and the celebrities left will continue to fight tooth and nail to be the next Celebrity Apprentice.
Hey Apprentice fans! Hope you all enjoyed Sunday's all-new Celebrity Apprentice. The ladies were on a bit of a winning streak and brought home a win last week for Debbie Gibson's charity, Children International. The men had a tough Boardroom last week losing both Adam and Michael. Being down two players and given their general feelings towards Lou, I was curious to see how they would fare this week.

This week the teams were tasked with creating a viral video for O-Cedar's new product, the ProMist Spray Mop. O-Cedar has been in the cleaning business for over 100 years, so they clearly know their product and their audience very well. The teams would be judged on product integration, brand messaging and entertainment value. Immediately following a "trick" question to Dayana, it was time to choose the project managers. This week Lou and Tia stepped up. I was happy with the team's choices as I think last week both Tia and Lou felt that they had some proving to do. Not only last week but also in previous tasks, I felt that Lou always seems to want the ball but never actually stepped up. This week will be very important for both Lou and Tia.

As the teams split up, Dayana was desperately trying to give her ideas, which seemed to be shot down quite quickly. Now whether they were necessarily great ideas or not, the claws were definitely out early on the women's side... The executives visited Team Forte first and immediately mentioned that the viral video should be sexy and shared their last campaign, which definitely pushed the envelope. Upon meeting further, the women decided upon, "What's Your Number?" as the theme. It definitely had sex appeal. How they presented it to the judges using their criteria would be another thing.

While the men were brainstorming there seemed to be a superhero theme in all of their ideas... go figure, with The Hulk as the PM! While they seemed to be all working together well, Penn continuously seemed to chime in about the negative elements or reasons why a particular idea wouldn't work. From a business perspective and from working in groups, I am sure that many of you have been in a room with this type of attitude, so I understood Clay's frustration. At one point Clay burst out mentioning that he felt that people were setting Lou up to fail. I hadn't seen this side of Clay and was impressed; he was a lot tougher than I would have thought! After Clay expressed his issues - I am sure that Lou felt relieved - they came up with a tagline, thanks to Paul Sr.: "I'll mop the floor with you." I think given the Hulk and the rest of the team members, I was thinking it could be very entertaining if executed properly.

As the women were filming their viral video it seemed like a lot of the team was sitting around, and with a task this size with a time crunch, I don't see that as a great sign. Additionally, Dayana whispered to Debbie that there was no mop in the frame of the video. I think Dayana's point was very valid and perhaps she should have voiced it sooner. I think if the product integration is not a point they hit during their video then it will certainly be a topic of discussion in the Boardroom.

Whoever thought that the Hulk was only capable of crushing things... think again! Lou showed off some serious dance moves on this task, which was a new side to him and also extremely entertaining!

It was time for the presentations, and overall they were both extremely entertaining. The women utilized the star power on their team incorporating almost all of the ladies in their video. The men chose to focus on Lou in the video and a spokeswoman to address the components of the product. It was time for the Boardroom to see if the women's number game or Lou's dance moves won over the judges.

My father began on the men's side in the Boardroom asking Lou how he thought their team did on the task. Lou was very confident and felt he gave 110%, and while I feel like I have heard that before, I do think Lou did a great job and it was evident from the kudos he received from his team members. Paul Sr. even said that he felt Lou was the star of this task, and Clay felt that he is the most committed person to the task. I think that commitment is a key element especially on this show. If you slip up or lose sight even for one task you could potentially lose your shot all together.

Over on the women's side they initially began with that same positive energy, and Tia named Lisa as the "star" of their task... although after Lisa's reply, I was thinking Tia may have wished she didn't say Lisa. Lisa explained that she felt that Tia never had her arms around the task. She went on to explain that in every task the three most creative people take on the most work, that being herself, Aubrey and Debbie. For three out of the seven women on the team to apparently be doing most of the tasks is not a great sign for their ability to work together and utilize their collective talents. As the conversation continued, you could tell that there was great frustration on both sides.

As the conversation continued, each celebrity began to voice who they felt was the weak link. Dee was asked who contributed the least and responded that he felt it was Paul Sr. on this task, and Paul seemed to accept that. However, I reminded both Dee and Paul that he came up with the concept; so to me, that was a huge contribution, and Dee had to admit that was true.

My brother Eric and I took the teams through the executive's feedback. On the ladies' video, the executives felt that they nailed it on entertainment and the brand, but their concept overall was confusing. They also felt that they focused too much on the presentation and not enough on the viral video. The men's team received a great review from the executives as they loved Lou as a housewife, and they thought the concept was very clear. They did however feel that it lacked the viral video element, which was a negative.

In the end, Lou brought home his first win of the season, proving that he did actually give 110% and it paid off! I was very happy for Lou, as I felt he really needed this one. The men headed to celebrate, and the women were left to battle it out... and that is what they certainly did.

From the very beginning of this Boardroom, there were many issues being laid out on the table. Creative people versus "worker bees" and disagreements over the concept and how the PM led the team. Harsh statements were flying back and forth and finally it was time for Tia to decide the two people she would bring back in to the Boardroom. As soon as Tia began questioning bringing two people back in I knew her fate. She decided to take the bullet for her team as the PM, feeling that it would be unfair to fire someone else. We respected Tia for accepting the responsibility but also felt that she could have shown more fight and stayed in the game.

Hi Everyone. Hope you all enjoyed Sunday night's episode. This week was particularly exciting because we not only had drama between the teams and product launches filled with comedy scenes but also two firings, which always shakes things up a bit!

We began this week watching the teams back in the war rooms after another rough Boardroom. It was the men's first time in the Boardroom, and they didn't take it well. Arsenio went as far to say that other than dying he couldn't think of anything worse! That's pretty extreme but being able to sit across from the teams each week I could see that sometimes it's more than tough...

Dayana had a great week on the last task and was able to bring home $20,000 for her charity, the Latino Commission on AIDS. She was so emotional and watching her with the charity reaffirms all of the great work that is accomplished through this show. It's incredible and we congratulate Dayana on a nice win last week but... it was back to business, and for all of those who thought the women had the advantage on the fashion task (which I am not sure I agree with!), the tables are turned as it was time for their next challenge using the all new Buick Verano.

We met the teams in the heart of NYC right by Central Park and presented them with their task of creating a 10-minute consumer launch presentation and 10 minute live Q&A for the Buick Verano. As the teams quickly decided who would be the PM, we all thought it was a no-brainer for Michael Andretti to take this one. However, it seemed Adam wanted to step up, and Michael almost pushed for him to take it. An odd situation and one that I knew we would certainly discuss in further details back at the Boardroom. However, I was looking forward to seeing Adam step up and knew that whatever he did would be sure to provide a few laughs. On the ladies' team, Debbie volunteered and seemed enthusiastic about the challenge.

As the teams split off, the executives met with the women and relayed a few important elements for their brand. A thoughtful take on luxury and thoughtful design were communicated as well as key points that included the importance of safety, space and sound. Lisa thought of a "spokesperson" concept to engage with the audience, which Debbie really liked. It seemed to be a collaborative discussion at first, although that quickly changed as the women drove off in separate vans. Debbie did not communicate with Tia, Dayana and Teresa, leaving them very much out of the loop. Never a good thing, as the people you leave feeling alienated are not usually your advocates in the Boardroom.

On the men's side, the team was getting frustrated with Lou, mentioning that Lou only cares about his role in the task, never looking at the bigger picture. Adam, as the PM, was set on exactly what he wanted, leaving no room for discussion on the team. While I thought the theme of having "hecklers" in the audience could be funny, it could also push the envelope too far. Given the pillars of the Buick brand and what the executives communicated, I wasn't sure how well it would go over.

I stopped by to see Team Forte, and they seemed to be behind schedule with a lot to do and very little time. Debbie was hoping for a good night's sleep to bring her task to life. I think it could use a little more than a good night's sleep but was looking forward to seeing what they put together.

The following day was go time for the groups, and the ladies were up first. I thought their concept was interesting, and they did a good job. I liked that they incorporated almost all of their team members and the important parts of the Buick brand. However, they did not impress the executives when they mispronounced Verano as "Verona" twice in their presentation. Also, Teresa's hot pink and leopard joke at the end didn't fare well. The men's team kicked off a little slow as Adam admitted to the audience he was nervous. For someone who does stand-up for a living I was a little surprised, but The Celebrity Apprentice does bring out a new side to all our players. I think they did a good job in the beginning sharing the technical aspects of the car to the audience, and putting Penn in the trunk was funny and interesting, still showing the amount of space available in the Verano. However, the executives were disappointed with the team's failure to use Michael Andretti more extensively given his background and recognizable name. Paul and Lou's bit was also not very well received as it left the room with a bit of an awkward silence.

It was time for the Boardroom. As predicted, Michael not stepping up as the PM was a huge part of the conversation. Lou also, for the fourth week in a row, shared that he felt he wasn't being utilized. It seems to now be a reoccurring theme, which makes me wonder if Lou is not stepping up enough and trying to take the reins instead of complaining about it. As we discussed how the teams thought they did, Penn expressed some concern about the way that their presentation played out. The only one who strongly disagreed with Penn was Adam and that was evident. On the ladies' side of the table, Teresa was less than complimentary about Debbie's performance as the PM. Teresa and Tia both felt out of the loop, and Debbie fired back that Teresa doesn't "own who she is" and that she hesitates a lot. Teresa disagreed but didn't necessarily back up her argument. I have seen Teresa be very strong and opinionated, so I was surprised when she didn't put up much of a fight. I am hoping that Teresa will be able to defend herself, or the Boardrooms may get even tougher for her.

Overall the executives thought the women did a better job on this task and communicated Buick's four important points much stronger than the men's team. Adam strongly felt that they did a great job and that the wrong decision was made. Regardless, Adam then made a much worse decision by deciding not to bring two people back into the Boardroom with him. Note to the rest of the group: lesson learned! Adam was fired as the concept was his and as PM he had to take the bullet for this. He didn't seem to protest, so I think my father made the right decision. The rest of the men were left in the Boardroom, and it was not over yet; another person would be fired.

The decision seemed to come down to Michael or Lou. Most of the team felt that Lou did not offer anything aside from his muscles and consistently felt underutilized and yet the team felt he didn't have a broad enough skill set. As we noticed from the get-go, Michael not stepping up as PM was a huge mistake. His experience, knowledge of cars and brand name seemed to confuse us all as to why he didn't take advantage of those advances. If this task wasn't right for him, I am not sure any task would be, so my father made the decision to fire Michael. We wish him the best of luck and felt that both Michael and Adam were great guys, but the right choices were made this week.

Hey Apprentice Fans! Hope you all had a great weekend. This task was a lot of fun to watch and I particularly felt for the men's team as designing window displays, aside from the construction aspect, I knew would be challenging...

We met the teams in the lobby of Trump Tower in front of my sister Ivanka's jewelry store. My brother Eric joined me as an advisor as Ivanka stepped in to the role of the business executive this week for the task. The teams were charged with creating live window displays for Lord & Taylor on Fifth Avenue using Ivanka's collections of clothing, shoes, handbags and coats. Choosing a PM this week was interesting as there were two candidates who wanted to step up for the women. As many times as Theresa said she had a background in fashion, it was clear that Dayana felt strongly that she wanted to take the lead on this one. I think she was getting tired of being one of the last in the Boardroom and wanted to prove herself. Despite the teams wanting to elect Clay as PM, George volunteered and was looking forward to raising awareness and hopefully money for a charity that is very close to him.

The teams raced off to begin brainstorming for their task and had the ability to meet with Ivanka and Scott Devine, of Lord & Taylor. I thought they asked great questions and hopefully were able to soak up the points that were most important for Ivanka's brand. I find that the executive meetings are always incredibly important and at times underutilized. I think the women were able to solidify their concept almost instantly after Ivanka and Scott left the room. The women's concept was "every woman" with "timeless style" which was a key element that Ivanka mentioned. The men decided on a day to night theme, also very clever and in line with the brand as Ivanka spoke about how her collections take women from day to night.

The teams split up, some going to build the actual displays and others to select the clothing for the windows. While I do think I am quite a fashionable guy, (I know this because many of you tweet to me compliments each week about my suit selections), I know that I would certainly have preferred to be with Paul Sr. on the construction side. I liked how Paul was able to utilize his resources and talents. He called his team at his shop and had incredibly large Ivanka Trump signs made for the windows. Not only a great idea but extremely important for this task. The rest of the teams were over at Ivanka's showrooms shopping for their windows. I thought it was pretty funny which of the men stepped up and spearheaded the selections. Arsenio really led the men down this fashion path, handpicking the clothing, shoes, bags and coats. The ladies seemed to have a little bit more of a collaborative effort working together to pull many of the outfits with Dayana and Theresa spearheading the process.

While all of the teams were either pulling clothes or building sets, Dee Snyder was at the hospital getting surgery on his hand. The incident on the horse last week was a bit more intensive than initially thought. We really respected Dee's commitment to finish out the task even with his injury. In true fashion, Dee left surgery, grabbed his leather jacket and headed over to Lord & Taylor to support his team. As someone who has broken almost every bone, I know Dee likely was in a lot of pain, so I admire his commitment to the team.

As with almost every task and every season, traffic gets the best of all our celebrities. In my opinion, you would you think they would learn to add that into travel time... although again, NYC traffic is pretty unpredictable. Lisa and a few of the ladies were very late arriving to Lord & Taylor. It always adds another level of pressure. In watching the task again, I was feeling a bit concerned that they wouldn't get everything done; but in the end they pulled it together and it was show time on Fifth Avenue.

Ivanka and Scott arrived at the unveiling and started with the men's team. I immediately recognized Paul's great signage, which was really well done. I liked their concept of night and day but their nighttime backdrop really didn't stand out, and their outfit selections were not red carpet. Using twin models was also a very cool concept that I thought added another interesting layer to their window. George was a little shaky on the presentation side, but all in all, they did a good job. The women's team had a lot of enthusiasm, and you could tell that they were very proud of what they had pulled together. Even through the window that Dayana, the women's PM, was starring in, she was smiling the whole time, adding a layer of fun and confidence to their display. They all were wearing the outfits in the presentation, which also was a nice touch. The men unfortunately couldn't use that card, although if Dee was up to it we all know he may have been able to step in!

It was time for the Boardroom, and each week it truly does get tougher and tougher. The celebrities become more competitive, and nothing is off limits. Overall, it was pretty clear that the women did a much better job than the men and although they did have some criticisms - one being that the border the women put together covered their feet, which was not great for Ivanka's shoe business. Ultimately, despite that small hiccup, the women were able to bring home their first win. They happily left the Boardroom and were able to breathe a sigh of relief, something they weren't very familiar with.

As the men were left to battle it out, there were a few key elements that led to their loss. One was that the outfit selections didn't fit the themes, and the other was that they did not build windows that stood out, especially with a dark navy backdrop and Arsenio in a black suit in the window. When Eric visited the men's team, he had the ability to talk to Clay offline, and through that conversation it was clear that the men felt George was a little bit "all over the place" as a leader. I think he did not have a great handle on the task, and despite the selections for the windows, it was not the only reason they lost. I think George could have led his team a little bit tighter. In any business, organization and the ability to delegate effectively (key word being effectively) is extremely crucial. We have great respect for a wonderful and loyal guy, but George was fired.

I hope that you all enjoyed this task. I am looking forward to seeing you next week in the Boardroom where two people will be fired! I love reading your feedback via my Twitter @donaldjtrumpjr and on my Facebook page www.facebook.com/donaldjtrumpjr. See you next week!

Hey Apprentice fans! Hope you all had a great weekend. This week's episode started off with all of the "safe" team members back in the war rooms. After saying goodbye to Cheryl, Victoria returned from Boardroom fired up and on the defensive. From the way she reacted after the first Boardroom, I knew that this second task would be drama filled on the ladies' side. Joined by the great James Lipton as an advisor, this week the teams were tasked with creating a 12 to 15 minute show at Medieval Times. Little did we know there would be many more battles than those fought at Medieval Times.

Penn and Lisa, given their extensive experience in show business, decided to step up and be the project managers. As the teams set off to begin planning for their tasks, it was clear that Lisa was running a tight ship. She wanted no interruptions, literally, and certainly wasn't vying for most popular PM but rather was focused on being a winning PM. The ladies settled on a Housewives of NJ theme, adding "Snooki" and my father to the mix. Given that Teresa, the star of Real Housewives of New Jersey, was on their team and the event was actually taking place in New Jersey, I thought it was a clever and fun concept. Lisa delegated parts for the show, and all of the ladies received an onstage part except for Victoria. Lisa appointed Victoria to stage director because she thought her no-nonsense attitude would be able to get one of the most important jobs done. Victoria did not take well to being behind the scenes, and that was just the start of the issues between Victoria and Lisa.

The men's team had quite the opposite feeling than the women's. They were busy playing dress up (some more than others), breaking bones, practicing their fight scenes and not worrying about who would be in the spotlight. With The Hulk on the team and Twisted Sister front man Dee Snyder, they were confident that they had a funny and action packed concept that would win over the crowd. Paul brought their props to a new level when a medieval-themed chopper was dropped off.

Back on the women's team, the more times that Lisa told Victoria that she had the most important role, the more times Victoria felt that she was stuffed in the closet. Victoria did not add very much on the first day except uncertainty that she couldn't do the task she was assigned, nor did she want to. Tensions also rose between Lisa and Dayana as Dayana felt she was not given any real assignment besides shopping and being "Lady Godiva." I think that while Lisa felt Dayana should "sit and look pretty," which as a model she obviously does well, I think they may be underestimating Dayana's abilities.

As the teams were rehearsing for their performance, Dee unfortunately broke his finger pretty badly. I admired that he put the pain aside and said he would deal with it later. I think it showed that he is a great team player, and plus who else would have played the woman in their show?!

It was show time at Mid-Evil Times (as Victoria likes to spell it) and the men were up first. The men's team commanded a lot of energy, and with Penn and Arsenio running the show, you know it had to be entertaining. And although in rehearsals the team was concerned about George's ability to very importantly follow the script, he, as a true great actor, did just that. Their entertaining performance was almost sealed with a kiss between Lou and "Lady Dee Dee" but the manly man on the team couldn't bring himself to go there.

The housewives took the stage and their entrance was not quite as smooth as the men's team. Still, they ended up putting together a great show. The women were hilarious and, aside from their battles, pulled out traditional New Jersey Real Housewives moves such as flipping tables. Lisa had a personal goal for this show, which was to deliver a clean and funny show. With the "gymnastics" moves and action scenes the ladies performed, I am not sure she met her "clean" goal 100%, but we will give her an A for effort.

Both teams put on great shows. but it was up to the audience; and ultimately one person's fate would be decided by my father back in the Boardroom. As we began the Boardroom, my father was very quickly able to recognize the tension between Victoria and Lisa. When Victoria was asked about Lisa as a PM, she wasn't quick to give her a great endorsement, first saying that she was very strict. She couldn't articulate her issues very well at first, but I knew it was only a matter of time before their real feelings would come out.

On Team Unanimous, they all felt that Penn was a great leader. My father began by asking Penn a difficult question as to whom he would bring back if he had to choose. The hypothetical questions are always tough, but as someone vying to be the next Celebrity Apprentice, it is always wise to answer the question. Penn responded with great respect and said that if he had to, he would bring Lou and George back. Lou was very visibility hurt by this and took it very personally. I admire the way that Penn approached this difficult question and only hoped that Lou would understand. For Lisa, it seemed to be a much different decision. When my father asked whom she would bring back, she immediately said Victoria. Lisa felt Victoria let her emotions get in the way of getting her job done.

As we delivered the results, it was clear that if the women were left in the Boardroom, it would not be a pretty battle. Both teams did very well, but the men were able to bring in 558 votes while the women received 363 votes. As the men's team went back to their war room, they had to hold off on the celebrating until Lou and Penn cleared the air. Penn apologized, and all was forgiven. I wonder if the women's team was in that same position, would all be forgiven as quickly?

Back in the Boardroom, Lisa immediately reiterated that it was not the concept that made their team loose. I think she wanted to make sure that point was heard, as she knew being the PM her head was very much on the chopping block. After the ladies battled, Lisa chose to bring back Victoria and Dayana to stay in the Boardroom. Lisa was upset that she gave Victoria one of the most important jobs, and she threatened to walk out. Victoria's rebuttal was that she felt she would be better served to play for the men's team. Lisa who is always hilarious and raw let out her emotional side in the Boardroom, exuding great passion and fight to stay in the game. While we have great respect for Victoria, during this task she was late with the lighting and sounds cues for the women's teams' entrance and she also thought about quitting. Even thinking about it made my father question her dedication to being there. There are so many people that are fighting tooth and nail to win, so even thinking about quitting just shows that Victoria may not have been up for this challenge.

As you saw on this week's episode, the Boardrooms are tougher than ever as is the competition.
Hey everyone! Welcome back to another season of The Celebrity Apprentice. This year we have more celebrities than ever and you know that means... more firings, more Boardrooms, more drama and, most importantly, more incredible charities to raise money for! We have an amazing lineup with names such as Lou Ferrigno, Adam Carolla, Paul Teutul Sr., Victoria Gotti, Dee Snyder and Lisa Lampanelli. From comedians, actors, and housewives to singers and models the cast this season came with their game faces on ready to work for their charity and trying their hardest to avoid hearing my father's famous words.

I always find the dynamics of the first episode so interesting. Everyone is getting to know one another and you almost believe the group is one big happy family. But as an avid fan you know that it quickly becomes quite the opposite... Coming into this season, we find out instantly that no one wants to mess with Victoria. I personally loved when they switched to the mob music for Victoria's intro... much more appropriate. After meeting with my father, the teams split off to their war rooms to choose a team name and project manager. The frat boys came up with some "creative" choices, and I sort of hoped that they would choose one of Adam's suggested names just so we could all hear the explanation to my father. I didn't think the "Honey Badgers" was all that bad... They ended up with "Unanimous" and then moved on to the harder decision: who would be the first PM. Unlike the women's team, no one on the men's side was quick to jump up and volunteer. After a challenge from Adam, Paul Sr. stepped up. I liked that Paul confidently took the lead on this task. Over on Team Forte, the choice for PM was simple. Patricia was focused and was determined to take on the first task.

The teams made their way to the Boardroom and soon after would be making their way to the kitchens at Cafe Metro to make sandwiches. While the teams were in their planning phases, Paul Sr. nonchalantly brought up that he would be able to bring in a half a million dollars for this task. I love the confidence but don't necessarily think it was the best idea to announce numbers so early on in the game. By doing so, I think the rest of his team felt it was not as crucial to bring in their big money donors. For example, Clay then announced he would save his "big guns" for another task. While the men's team was coming up with their concept, Penn pointed out the importance of branding and urged the team to remain focused on the Orange County Chopper theme with Paul Sr. being their PM. I liked Penn's ability to recognize the importance of branding and cohesive messaging.

Forte put together a red carpet theme, and while I think it worked very well, I wasn't surprised, as this theme is used at least once every season in some capacity. As the teams were planning their sandwich strategy all were very focused on entertainment and who would be out front with the customers. I think Victoria brought up a very good point in asking who would be making the sandwiches. With groups filled with actors, comedians, athletes and models it's easy to put together a great "face" for your event, but I think the teams often forget that the behind-the-scenes preparation is as important, if not more important, a consideration. Early on you almost always see this struggle of who is a bigger celebrity or name. The women's group was no exception.

Overall I think the teams worked very well together. I was surprised that as PM, Patricia wasn't more concerned with Victoria's tardiness, but she did however do a great job empowering her team and conveying her passion for her charity. By doing this, I think she propelled her group to bring in some great donors and friends. On the men's team, Clay did a great job of upselling their customers and through that was able to bring in a great deal of money. Paul, who may be a bit "rough around the edges" as my sister Ivanka said, had tremendous support from friends and I think with his no nonsense attitude was able to lead the frat boys very strongly.

It was time for the first Boardroom. Sitting across from the largest group we have had to date, I think the tension and nervousness was certainly apparent. At the same time, there was huge confidence in the room. Both teams really felt as though they had brought this one home. I love when we see that forcefulness in the Boardroom, and although people don't often say it, you can almost always tell when a PM or team feels that they haven't performed well or that their head is about to be on the chopping block. This was quite the contrary in our first firing session. Patricia and Paul both were confident that they had won. As we know, it's all a numbers game and in our first fundraising task, Paul Sr. with his "Chopper" themed sandwiches was the winner. The money went to an incredible cause, the Make-A-Wish Foundation. And although Patricia was not able to win this time for her charity, The Wayuu Taya Foundation, a charity very close to her heart, she was able to bring tremendous awareness to it, which is invaluable.

The men left the ladies to battle it out, but there really was no huge brawl to be had. Instead, Patricia's choices to bring two ladies back in were quite simple, Victoria for her lack of focus during the actual task and Cheryl who was not working at the same fast pace as the other women. When we sat across from all three ladies it was clear that my father made the right choice in firing Cheryl. She was a great icon and businesswoman, but she didn't seem to have the same fight and fire as the other celebrities. In my opinion, this was the right decision, as she would not have lasted very long given the nature of what lies ahead!

I hope that you enjoyed our first episode; between the personalities and creative tasks, I don't think we have seen anything like this season in Celebrity Apprentice history. I will be tweeting live each week www.twitter.com/donaldjtrumpjr and posting exclusive photos on my Facebook page www.facebook.com/donaldjtrumpjr so please send over your comments and thoughts. I am looking forward to next week already!

Hey Apprentice Fans! I hope you all enjoyed our Live Finale on Sunday night. It has been such an amazing season filled with a lot of drama and, most importantly, a lot of money raised for some incredible charities. Thank you to all those who have been tweeting and posting on the blog with me throughout the season; I have enjoyed hearing your feedback during every episode. In this week's blog, I've tried to address many of the questions that you sent in via my twitter page. Keep them coming and I am looking forward to next year!

Sunday night was particularly exciting because we not only had Marlee Matlin and John Rich going head to head to become the next Celebrity Apprentice and win $250,000 for their charities, but also we had all of the celebrities from the season back together on one stage. Obviously, throughout the season certain personalities clashed. We all remember the "Casper the Ghost" incident between La Toya and NeNe and the explosion over paint supplies between Meat Loaf and Gary. There weren't any two people though that had more issues throughout the course of the show then NeNe and Star. Backstage it was very tense. Our production team frankly was worried about NeNe and Star being in such close proximity to one another. The last time they saw each other was a task delivery when they verbally attacked each other and NeNe packed her bags. I think the ladies intentionally stayed away from each other backstage and of course let it out once my father asked them a question on stage. If the show wasn't two hours, I am sure they could have gone back and forth for much longer. I think it's clear that NeNe and Star won't be hanging out anytime soon...

The atmosphere of the finale was a lot of fun; after all, how can you go wrong with the '70s and '80s?! It was a tough choice but I think the '80s was my favorite. From a marketing standpoint their 7UP can grabbed me, as it was a little bit more "in your face." With that said, I think that the disco theme was very appropriate and well done. In terms of the event and their final tasks, I think both did a terrific job. I really enjoyed the Globetrotters' event and it was a great experience for my kids. I have to say though that I am a product of the '80s. John's event brought me back to my high school and college days of listening to Def Leppard. John did have a mishap occur during his event but I thought he did a great job stepping in, and although the concert didn't go as planned, John turned it into a two-for-one. Getting to see John Rich and Def Leppard perform at the same event was pretty cool.

I've been asked quite a bit about what my favorite moment of the finale was. I think that Gary Busey's kite rant was pretty hysterical. No matter how many times he tries, I just don't think we will ever understand where he was going with that one. You should have seen the random things he was blurting out during the commercial break. Although, if I had to pick one, my favorite moment of the night was when John came out on stage with a cowboy hat for my father. It was sort of an awkward moment, leaving us all wondering "will he or won't he put the hat on?" I think it was a ridiculous but interesting turning point in the night when he finally put the hat on. I am sure John felt a huge victory for that one. That would be one of two victories John had for the night... his next being announced as the new Celebrity Apprentice!

The decision my father had to make was very tough. Both Marlee and John did an incredible job throughout the season. I know many of you have wondered what my father meant when he said he was going to do something differently. What he meant by that was, normally in the finale episode, he "hires" AND "fires." This time he only announced the hire. I think it would have been difficult to fire Marlee, as we have the utmost respect and appreciation for her hard work throughout the season.

This season we had a very strong and passionate group. Throughout the run of The Celebrity Apprentice, I continue to make some great friends. I'm often asked if I would be friends with certain people had they not been on the show. I can say that I've enjoyed meeting each and every one of them. It's amazing because you often discover the celebrities' many talents outside of their known or chosen area of expertise. This season I've become friends with John, Lil Jon and Meat Loaf. I've been friends with Star for a while as well. A few weeks back, I had dinner with Marlee, Jack, John, Star and Meat Loaf. We had a blast. It was great hanging out with them outside the Boardroom. Overall, it was a pleasure to meet and work with all of the members of the original Team Backbone and Team A.S.A.P.

People always ask, "If you could choose the celebrities for next season who would they be?" I think that this is a difficult question because it's not just about the individual but rather the team dynamics. Who creates the craziness or the conflict? How well will the team function - or not function? Those are all huge factors in making a successful show. This season was all of the above: fun, crazy, dramatic and, most of all, record-breaking. This season more money was raised for charity than in the entire history of Celebrity Apprentice!! Watch out next season's cast... you have big shoes to fill.

Hey Apprentice Fans! Hope you have enjoyed watching our finale episode. We have two record-breaking players going head to head to be the next Celebrity Apprentice and bring home $250,000 for their charities, The Starkey Hearing Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which are both incredible causes. We picked up this week with the teams working hard to get ready for their star-studded events. They were close to the finish line but had a lot to do before giving their final presentation to us.

Last week Marlee hit a roadblock and wasn't sure if Jeffrey Holder would be able to participate in their commercial. He was a huge component and there was no Plan B if he couldn't attend. If I were Marlee, I certainly would have been working on a backup plan. Thankfully, after working the phones for two hours, Meat Loaf received word that Jeffrey would be able to make it - huge sigh of relief for Marlee.

John Rich went to meet with Def Leppard and discuss the logistics for the show that evening. Immediately when John met with the group he explained the charity he was playing for, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He relayed his passion for the charity and brought it back to the kids. I think this was such a smart move on John's part. He wanted to show Def Leppard the depth and impact that their performance would have and how badly he wanted to win this. Throughout the season, this has been something I've admired about John. In most of the situations he's come up against, he has been able to always remind himself it's for the kids. I think that's one of the reasons why he is in the Final Two. While setting up, John received a nice $25,000 boost from his friends at the Melting Pot. That had to be great for team morale!

On the morning of the event, Marlee and her team showed up at the basketball courts and had to get to work. Initially, Marlee's team felt like there was no direction or delegation. I have seen this happen as the task gets so big that the leader needs to take a step back and get a game plan together. I was happy to see that Marlee did in fact step up and put her team to work. When the Globetrotters arrived, I loved how they said, "We'll take care of your charity." Marlee also said that the charity is what keeps her going. It was clear through her passion and energy that she also came to The Celebrity Apprentice to try to win for the Starkey Hearing Foundation.

It was time to hit the courts as Marlee's was the first event that we attended. I agreed with the executives that having Marlee and her team greet us upon entering the court was an important touch. It was a smart move because, as a leader, you can guide the executives on the experience, your way. You can be sure to lead them through your event, being sure to share all of the details that you had just worked so hard on. Overall, Marlee's event went off without a hitch. It was very organized and she put on a really exciting show. From her stage presence to the commercial and the Globetrotters, it all went extremely smoothly. I even brought my kids, Kai and Donnie, who also had a great time.

We switched gears and headed to the '80s for some rock and roll by Def Leppard. Right before taking the stage, John Rich received a check for $250,000 which was another huge accomplishment. If that didn't get John pumped up to get on stage, I don't know what would. John took the stage and first showcased his commercial which had everyone very entertained. He then did a fun intro, but the glitch with that was that his timing was completely off. He went on stage a little early... about 20 minutes early, which with a live audience is quite a lot of time to kill. Instead of panicking, he did what he does best and that was perform. He took his guitar and hit the stage. I was impressed by his confidence to get back out there quickly and make the show go on, a true professional. Def Leppard arrived on stage, at the time planned, 7:00 p.m., and put on a high energy, awesome show.

When my father met with the executives, they both really loved the work that Marlee and John had done. They felt they both did an excellent job, and they would be rolling out both products. That's a great testament to how strongly they felt about the '70s and '80s concepts they had come up with. Both Marlee and John should be proud of the work they did. They are both incredible people.

Thank you for watching with me tonight. I will be posting another blog this week which has ALL the details from our live finale Sunday night. I will be sharing with you a behind-the-scenes look at everything that went down during the show.
Hey Apprentice Fans! Hope you all enjoyed part 1 of our finale episode. The week began and we were down to the Final Four with Lil Jon, John Rich, Marlee and Meat Loaf. The teams were feeling relieved but they would soon find out that there was little time for celebrating. My father surprised them with an intense lineup of interviews which would begin the next day. We brought back Celebrity Apprentice champions Joan Rivers, Bret Michaels and Piers Morgan to do the job.

One by one the Final Four entered the Boardroom and faced some very tough questions from those who had been in their very position before. John Rich was the first up and Joan, Bret and Piers were very impressed. He came across very solid as he has throughout the competition. As Lil Jon entered the Boardroom his laid back manner and ability to work under pressure was a characteristic that the group admired. However, eyebrows were raised when Lil Jon said that he expected Marlee and John Rich to be in the Final Four. I was disappointed to hear that as I didn't think Lil Jon would ever come out with something like that. He later corrected himself in the Boardroom, which was a smart move and certainly more characteristic of the guy that we have all known these past 12 weeks. The ever so emotional Meat Loaf entered the Boardroom and these tough judges certainly did not bring Meat Loaf to tears. They loved his passion but also thought that in business it may not be a good thing to show your soft side so often. Marlee was called in and blew the judges away with her perseverance and focus; however, Piers did question whether Marlee had used all of her resources, and could potentially be "tapped out" if there was another fundraising task ahead.

After the interview process had ended, it was time for the Boardroom where we would soon learn the fate of the Final Four and find out who would be the last two in the race to be the Celebrity Apprentice and win $250,000 for their charity. My father moved down the line asking each player who they thought should be in the Final Two. Although Lil Jon in the Boardroom gave the response he should have during his interview, my father agreed with Joan, Piers and Bret that the response he gave to them was not the response of a winner. And - as my father pointed out - similarly to Lennox Lewis, who also failed to include himself in the winner's circle, he was fired. Lil Jon left proudly, knowing that he not only brought awareness to his charity but also put 100% into every task. With three people left in the Boardroom, each one gave their honest answer as to why they should be the next Celebrity Apprentice. John, Meat Loaf and Marlee all had one thing in common and that was passion. In the end, as much as my father admired Meat Loaf's ability to show his emotional side and wear his heart on his sleeve, in business there is such a thing as too much emotion. Meat Loaf was fired and left the Boardroom, still rocking.

Marlee and John have done an incredible job and we congratulate them on making it to the Final Two! In usual Celebrity Apprentice fashion it was back to business and back to task very quickly. The final task, always massive, did not disappoint. Marlee and John were to create a new can and packaging, produce a commercial and launch a star-studded event for 7UP Retro. Of course they would need a little bit of help so "The Johns" were back together again! Richard, Star, Lil Jon, La Toya, Meat Loaf and Mark showed up to lend a hand. Marlee chose her theme first: the Harlem Globetrotters and the 1970s. As I am sure many of you were, I was shocked that Marlee let John Rich have the 80's with Def Leppard. Marlee seemed confident that sports would be a better pick for her, so I was looking forward to seeing what she put together.

As the new teams split off, I was instantly concerned whether Marlee would be able to handle Meat Loaf's creativity. As she picked Meat Loaf first, she obviously saw him as an asset to her team; however I think if she doesn't keep a close eye, she could lose the reigns very quickly to her own task. When Ivanka visited the teams I would have liked Marlee to step in and take the lead. With that said, there are many components to this task and Marlee would need all hands on deck.

John's team seemed to have great momentum and I think between Star, Mark and Lil Jon he had a very strong team behind him. Star as usual took on the logistics, but with the creative musical minds going I think it was important to delegate that area off to someone else. Lil Jon seemed to be more relaxed than usual, and perhaps he really was just tired or maybe it was that he was not in the race any longer. Regardless of what it was, you could tell John Rich was hoping his very strong "other half" would soon return back to normal. And Lil Jon did eventually step up and help put a little fire under the group when the clock started ticking...

The teams had come up with their designs for the product, both colorful and bold, and had organized for their talent to arrive and participate in the commercial. John Rich's team had arranged for Dee Snider from Twisted Sister to appear and Marlee had booked Geoffrey Holder who had recorded iconic ads for 7UP in the '70s. Both were very smart and exciting concepts. The day took an interesting turn when Meat Loaf received a phone call saying that Geoffrey Holder's lawyers had an issue with the release paperwork. That was a call that Marlee was certainly not prepared for. Meat Loaf lost his cool and it was up to Marlee to try and find a solution. They had no backup plan and time was not on their side, so Marlee would have to think quickly on her feet as to what to do next... I am looking forward to seeing how Marlee will step up and improvise. Both Marlee and John have a lot of work ahead of them and seeing them approach the finish line will be extremely exciting.

Hope you all enjoyed part 1 of the finale! Send your comments and predictions via my twitter page (www.twitter.com/donaldjtrumpjr ) as to who you think will be the next Celebrity Apprentice. See you next week for the LIVE finale!

Hey Apprentice Fans! Hope you all had a great weekend. Our supersized episode began this week, and from the start it was very clear that Star had no intention of making up with NeNe. Although NeNe claims she wanted to "talk it out" I didn't see those two coming to a resolution anytime soon. When my father, Ivanka and guest advisor, Jim Cramer, met the teams, a change was soon made. Meat Loaf sadly left the comfort of Team Backbone and joined Team A.S.A.P., now playing with Marlee and Star. Backbone now consisted of "the Jons," newly returned La Toya and a very frustrated NeNe.

Task 1 was delivered and this week it was a fundraising task, which is always exciting. The teams were to put on a comedy show using three comedians each, selling 50 tickets at any price, the ultimate goal being to raise the most amount of money. La Toya stepped up as PM for A.S.A.P. and Meat Loaf would be leading the ladies. As the teams hit the phone lines, Team Backbone was missing one member, NeNe, who was nowhere to be found. After countless phone calls, her teammates could still not get a hold of her, and finally my father reached her. In speaking to NeNe he found out that she felt the team change that happened earlier was unfair and quit! It was such a disappointment that NeNe decided to leave, not only because she would no longer be playing for her charity, but also because the week before Hope had been fired and so many thought that NeNe should stay because of her "potential." I was very surprised by this as I really saw NeNe as a fighter, not someone who would just give up, especially when she had made it this far. Regardless, six other people remained fighting tooth and nail to bring home a win -ultimately six people who wanted to be the next Celebrity Apprentice.

As the teams were trying to pull strings and call everyone they knew it seemed that La Toya had not really mastered the art of asking for money, a talent that proves to be very important on the fundraising tasks. Accepting $1,000 from Kathy and Rick Hilton certainly made me shake my head as I am sure most of you will agree. She probably could have done better. It seemed that whether asking for talent or money both teams were a little unimpressive, with the exception of John Rich who called in a huge favor and invited his buddy Jimmy Fallon to join them for the event. Star reached out to Tracy Morgan but only asked for a flip cam video. If I were her I would have certainly asked for his appearance at the actual show. I think it's a lesson that you have to think big, something that my father has always stressed in life. The worst that could have happened in Star's case would be that he would decline to come to the event and only do a flip cam video. I think with such an incredible talent even via flip cam, Team A.S.A.P. should have strategized how best to use Tracy's talent and time. The video seemed a little bit flat.

As the money slowly started to roll in, Meat Loaf opened up the floodgates and his tears were flowing. Meat Loaf was extremely emotional when he realized that if he didn't win this task, all of the money raised would not go to his charity, Painted Turtle. I loved the passion that we saw from Meat Loaf and after his infamous meltdown a few weeks back, it was nice to see a softer side. Team A.S.A.P. called my father asking if he would agree to let each team keep the money raised. But as my father reminded them, that's not the way it works and if he did that what would be the incentive to win? I commended the team for trying but agreed with my father. There was only one option for Meat Loaf and that would be to win. Which he certainly did!

Both teams did a great job putting on their comedy shows but ultimately Meat Loaf's team brought home the win, raising $102,080, beating La Toya's team who had brought in $82,500. There were two shocking events that happened in the Boardroom. Prior to finding out who won the task, John Rich stepped up and offered to personally donate to Painted Turtle whatever Meat Loaf had raised if his team lost. This was an incredible act of charity, kindness and friendship. I don't think I have ever seen this happen before in the Boardroom. This season has been filled so far with so many record breakers and we broke another one on Sunday: La Toya was fired twice in one season! Not a great record to break; but she took the firing very well and we enjoyed having her on the show. As The Celebrity Apprentice often does with the candidates, it brought out a very different side to La Toya.

Once Meat Loaf had dried his tears of happiness, the teams had little time to rest and it was time for Round 2. The second task of this week was to create a promotional video for OnStar. It was a rematch for Marlee and John Rich, since both stepped up as PMs to take on this challenge. The winning PM would receive $40,000 for his or her charity. The importance of this task was to communicate in the video that OnStar is now available at local retail stores and can be put in any vehicle.

Lil Jon and John Rich were brainstorming and John Rich was battling a massive headache. I think that the synergy between "the Jons" at this point was so strong that they were able to plow right ahead despite John not feeling well. I like how throughout the show John Rich always brings it back to the kids and reminds himself what he is playing for. I think it's so important, and disappointing when some players lose sight of this.

As Team A.S.A.P. had their creative juices going, I think Meat Loaf must have been missing the guys more and more as his bickering with Star increased by the minute. At this point you have to wonder, is it Star? In any case, Marlee seemed to keep the peace as best she could. Still, I think Marlee should have been a little stronger in the creative process and spoken up more when she didn't agree with the decisions made. Marlee mentioned a few times that she and Meat Loaf just have different minds. That may be the case but I think it's important to be able to work together. In many business settings that's quite often the case, but learning how to utilize to two different personalities and finding their strengths is important.

The concepts couldn't have been more different but both had one thing in common: they were far from simple. The time in the editing room was crucial. In Team A.S.A.P.'s usual style they were running late. (I just don't think they will ever get the hang of NYC traffic!) The teams finally had their promo videos together and made their presentations to the OnStar executives. When my father met with the executives they felt that Team A.S.A.P. had a good theme and a softer message. A.S.A.P. tried to add humor, but using the cop in a donut shop didn't really make the OnStar executives laugh quite as much as they hoped. The OnStar team enjoyed the men's team and thought they had high energy and really showed off the new product. They did however forget to use a seat belt in one part of their video - a huge miss! That comes back to attention to detail and having the ability to look at the total picture as well as at all of the small intricate parts.

It was time for the Boardroom. Lil Jon and John Rich's teamwork and creativity certainly paid off as they brought home another win for Team Backbone! John Rich's grand total for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was up to $695,000!! Awesome job! As Team Backbone celebrated, things between Meat Loaf and Star began to heat up. I loved how the guys were watching from their suite cheering on Meat Loaf as if he was in a boxing match. Star and Meat Loaf argued back and forth... well I guess Star didn't "argue" because she so politely "declined" to give him one. They fought over the brand messaging and also the fact that Meat Loaf referred to Star as "sweetie." I was surprised to see Star get so upset by this because working over the past 10 episodes, its known that Meat Loaf has used these terms and has meant no disrespect. I also have to add it's pretty ironic that when Star and Marlee were rushing out of the studio by the elevator, Star yelled out, "Meat Loaf we ready baby!" Perhaps it's only okay when Star is speaking to others? In any event it was the brand messaging that lost Team A.S.A.P. the OnStar task. Star was assigned that element of the task and the mark was missed. Star was held responsible and was fired. However, it was great to have Star on the show and we wish her all the best!

Hope you all enjoyed this week's double dose of Celebrity Apprentice. Looking forward to the FINAL FOUR next week! Thanks for all your messages here on the blog and via my twitter page (www.twitter.com/donaldjtrumpjr) See you next week!

Hey Apprentice Fans. Hope you all had a great weekend. As we ended last week's Boardroom and La Toya was sent down the elevator I knew that we were going to be in for some fireworks between NeNe and Star. Little did we know it would turn into a full-on explosion...

My father, Ivanka and Eric arrived in style to deliver the task for this week. Farouk Shami from CHI and BioSilk was on hand to help explain this week's task, which was to create a hair show using his company's products. Initially the winning team would receive a check for $20,000 but Farouk upped the ante to $40,000. When it came time to pick the project managers, who knew that it would cause NeNe to literally fly off the handle? I was traveling for business during this task but heard that the fight went on for at least 45 minutes! That couldn't have been fun for Star. I am sure she is looking back on the fights had on The View and thinking those were a walk in the park. Nothing like letting the opposing team know you are having issues?! This seemed to be a big confidence boost for an already very confident men's team and as Lil Jon stepped up as PM I think he was feeling good about the task ahead.

As the fighting/yelling continued, I was curious how the team dynamics would be once they sat down and actually had to execute this task. Whether NeNe liked it or not, she would need Star's help. During the fireworks NeNe also managed to slip in an insult or two at Hope. Team morale was at an absolute low and it would be interesting to see how NeNe would perform as PM. She certainly would have to change her attitude if she wanted these ladies to help her bring home a win.

Team Backbone, feeling good, was busy trying to come up with their theme. As Farouk came and met with then, he provided a few key elements that should be incorporated into the presentation. The executive meeting is always very important and the teams should always listen hard for the hints dropped, as they are usually vital. The men decided on "Feeling Good in America" as their theme. Week after week I continue to be impressed by the men's team and their camaraderie. They also pulled a power play by calling Niki Taylor in to help. It was both a good idea and one that would certainly warrant a reaction from the women.

During the time that the ladies seemed to have "shaken out" their issues, my father had a visitor arrive in his office, La Toya Jackson. La Toya came to plead her case as to why she should be given a second chance. I liked how La Toya was confident in her abilities and felt that she still had a lot more to offer. I was impressed by her focus and was curious to see if my father would break the rules and allow her to come back into the race.

The teams had finished their shopping and had arrived in the salon to prep for their presentation. The men's and ladies' teams are not usually in such close proximity to each other so I am sure they were watching every word making sure not to divulge anything to their opposing team. The ladies were a little more than shocked to see Niki Taylor arrive. They felt she had "betrayed" their team, I am sure that they were just probably mad they hadn't thought of calling her in first.

When Eric visited the teams NeNe told him that if they should lose that the Boardroom will be on fire. I am not sure how much worse it could get from that morning but on this show anything is possible. Ivanka also stopped by the salon and was surprised to see just how calm the teams were. Lil Jon was sitting back having a glass of wine. I wondered if the men's team was a little too overconfident and comfortable. Even NeNe seemed relaxed or perhaps was just preoccupied as to how she would "light up the Boardroom" if they lost.

It was presentation day and the men's team seemed ready to rock. Niki brought along three top models, which is never a bad thing. Team A.S.A.P. showed up late which didn't make their stylists very happy. They were supposed to arrive at 8:00 a.m. and were 30 minutes late. I didn't agree with NeNe's comment, "Can't a girl be late." I think they knew the answer to this question is "no," especially not on the day of a presentation. It wasn't a great sign that the stylist was more concerned about the timing and preparation than the actual project manager. The presentation went very well, although I agreed that it would have been better and would have provided more energy to have NeNe stay on stage rather than handing the reigns over to the stylist. As the project manager, that was a risky move considering the majority of this task was being judged on presentation.

Lil Jon in usual fashion commanded attention very quickly on stage. As the presentation proceeded there were a few holes that probably could have been patched up had the men's team rehearsed. Once Niki's country energy arrived on stage followed by the audience celebrating the products along with Mardi Gras, it seemed that the men had pulled this one off.

It was time for the Boardroom. The issues were raised almost instantly, which was not surprising. NeNe said that she felt alone on this task and that her team wasn't working up to their potential. As Ivanka pointed out, it's hard to be a flamethrower and then expect camaraderie. I couldn't agree more and that's a clear example of how NeNe should have thought before she acted. She probably should have approached the issues she had with Star in a different manner, one that wouldn't have set such a negative tone. Aside from the clear problems between Star and NeNe, Hope was also included in the discussions, being called Star's "puppet on a string." Hope's inability to defend herself made her come off as a weak player, which is never good. I would have liked Hope to stand up for herself on her own and not only after my father prompted her to do so.

Ivanka and Eric delivered the results from Farouk. Farouk thought that the men's team had great brand messaging and loved their theme. Farouk didn't like how they left out the safety aspect of the BioSilk and CHI Products. When it came time to discuss Team A.S.A.P.'s performance, Eric explained that the women's team did a good job on emphasizing safety and their stylists were very informative. The negatives were that NeNe did not perform well as the MC and they also thought that Hope looked very awkward on stage. The men had won this task, for the second week in a row. Before leaving the Boardroom they received a surprise: new teammate La Toya. My father really liked that La Toya refused to give up and I too think this is such an important quality in business and in life.

For those of who you may have missed it on the East Coast, the women's team was left to battle it out and it was no surprise that NeNe had elected for Hope and Star to stay in the Boardroom with her. After quite a lot of arguing back and forth it was Hope that was fired this week. My father felt that she is young and has an amazing career ahead of her but was not tough enough and it would be very hard for her to stay in this competition. We wish Hope the best of luck, although I think all of the ladies at this point need some luck.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Celebrity Apprentice. I am looking forward to next week already. Please continue to send me your comments via the blog and my twitter page. (www.twitter.com/donaldjtrumpjr)

Hey Apprentice fans! Hope you all had a great weekend. As the weeks go on we continue to see both the competition and the tasks get tougher and tougher. This week was no exception. This task was by far was the most challenging to date and extremely close to home for my father, Ivanka, Eric and I. The teams were to create and present an advertising campaign for the Trump Hotel Collection. We launched the Trump Hotel Collection in 2007 and have been expanding since, with five hotels now operating from New York City to Waikiki, Las Vegas and Chicago. We have two new hotels coming online this year in Panama and Toronto. We are all extremely proud of the hotel brand we have created, and we work hard to continue making our properties among the best in the world. With that said, the teams had a huge job ahead and would have to work very hard to impress the judges for this week, including us, our COO Jim Petrus and Savoy Magazine's James Osland.

Star stepped up as project manager and felt confident she could succeed at this task with flying colors as she views herself as someone who knows luxury. The men on the other hand had a little more trouble choosing their PM. Ultimately John Rich stepped up, albeit reluctantly, feeling like he didn't have enough experience in the luxury sector to handle this task. I could see why the men's team had some trouble choosing a PM. There is no one who knows this brand better than my father, my siblings and I, so the teams would have to really step up with a creative concept that we haven't already seen and one that accurately depicts the Trump Hotel Collection.

The teams entered their penthouse suites at Trump SoHo and if that didn't give them a gauge on luxury I don't know what will. Trump SoHo is the newest hotel in the collection, and one that has a young downtown vibe still in keeping with our signature Trump white glove service and ultra luxury atmosphere. The ladies entered the duplex penthouse, which has spectacular views and an incredible design. I was hoping that they would look around and it would inspire them to get their creative juices going. Ivanka and Jim visited the teams and emphasized that we were looking for a new perspective, reminding them that our hotel brand has more personality than other hotels in the luxury arena. I was hoping the women would take this hint from Jim and create something really special and unique. While it was nice to see a project manager finally utilize their playboy teammate, Hope, I was concerned to hear that the traditional bubble bath scene was being done yet again. Hopefully, between all the hugging and making up that was coming from La Toya and NeNe, the ladies could give us their own fresh spin on luxury.

Team Backbone was a little short-staffed this week with a huge task to complete and only three sets of hands to do it. I think John Rich made the right move with his divide and conquer plan. Lil Jon must have been looking forward to actually being assigned a task as opposed to last week when Gary had Lil Jon basically hanging out on the sidelines. The men's team decided to use a hint from Jim and Ivanka's visit and incorporate the tagline, "Live the Life." When Eric visited the team and heard about their full concept, his concern was that it might be a little long-winded. One thing that I have learned with advertising is that your message needs to be impactful and to the point. You only have one shot to capture your audience so if your message demands too much time, you risk losing the attention of your potential customer.

The teams were in full swing organizing photo shoots, laying out their ads and preparing for their presentation. I was surprised to see that the "Ladies who Lunch" had time to sneak in beauty treatments, which were necessary (?) for their photo shoot. Between the makeup, hair and expensive jewelry I'd say this tough task was certainly reaping a few rewards for team A.S.A.P. I was impressed to see their level of attention to detail leading up to the shoot but then was a little shocked when I saw the final product and noticed the major details they'd left out. While the ladies were pampering themselves, Meat Loaf was busy giving the waiter/model a big confidence boost. While Meat Loaf was yelling, "You're the best" to the "friendly" waiter who was "making people feel like Donald Trump," he ended up looking very scared in his photos. Not to mention, from what I saw those photos were very typical hospitality industry photos, ones that you could probably find online from a stock imagery site. In recent weeks the men's team has been known to push the envelope and this week it seemed like they were placing safe bets.

Between Star and NeNe bickering about the time it took to shoot the bathtub scene, the lack of flowers on the tables and the men proofreading their advertising materials at least 100 times, it was time for the presentations. Overall, as Jim and James said, it was a train wreck. The men's team gave a good presentation and I liked how they included some of their own personal experiences; I think that whenever possible it's important to try to link an emotional connection to your audience. I did agree with the executives that Team Backbone didn't talk about the actual message enough and didn't have a call to action on their advertisements. That was a huge miss. In business it's so important to make sure to look at both the big picture and pay attention to the small details. My father, siblings and I are all extremely detail-oriented and I think in business you truly to have to be. You cannot afford to place an advertisement these days and not include the website or phone number. Additionally, the men had spelling mistakes which was also a disappointment considering that they made a point to check that area several times.

Although the men did not impress, the presentations went from bad to worse. The women's presentation was very choppy and I too agreed with Jim that calling out different attributes was not a good idea. I liked that they had TRUMP featured very prominently in their ads, as brand recognition is important when producing any type of collateral materials. But they had too many images and it became very busy, filled with generic "hotel"-type shots, exactly what Ivanka had told the teams to avoid.

It was time for the Boardroom. The kind words about Star as project manager ended quickly with NeNe explaining to my father, Eric and I that everyone sucks up to Star except of course herself. I always love how the teams come in for the first few minutes with all great things to say, but as soon as we press them with questions, their true feelings really do come out. When we went through the results with the teams, the list of negatives hit an all-time Apprentice high with a long list of reasons why both teams struck out on this task. There really was no winner but I guess we could say that overall the executives disliked the men's advertisement less than the women's. Team Backbone was excused from the Boardroom and John Rich was able to bring home another check for $20,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As the women battled it out in the Boardroom, Star was asked to choose two people to bring back in and she strategically choose NeNe and La Toya. It always interests me to see which members are brought in by the PM. I knew those would be the two joining Star in the Boardroom. Ultimately we have huge respect for La Toya, but she was the weakest player of the three in the Boardroom. My father felt he had to give the women their best chance to win and now we had done that. I think Star learned a valuable lesson and you could tell she knew she had a few changes to make. That said, the real test would be seen on the next task.

Hope you all had a great weekend! We began this episode watching the teams as they waited to see who would be coming back to join Meat Loaf, Lil Jon and John Rich on another task. The guys were nervously hoping and praying that it was not going to be Gary who survived the Boardroom and walked through the door... sure enough it was. I think the only people happy to see Gary were the members of team A.S.A.P. It seems Gary has quite the effect with the ladies, that and his team at this point are ready to quit if he continues to act the way he has. NeNe cruelly said she is enjoying the torture Gary is putting the guys through. It seems the tables have turned and as I told the ladies' team a few weeks back, I have seen many instances where a comeback is very possible. Team A.S.A.P. is a great example of this. For weeks their morale was down and as soon as they brought home a few wins and figured out their team dynamics they were back in the running against the men.

We met the teams at the Trump Grille in Trump Tower, a place I visit very frequently for lunch meetings. This week's task was to create a live cooking demonstration making three meals for Omaha Steaks. Hope stepped up as PM and hopefully would have enough Texas in her blood for this task. Gary would lead the men this week. I was looking forward to seeing how Gary would perform as PM and also how his teammates would respond to his leadership. The past few weeks, they've all showed a lot of frustration when it comes to Gary. I think I can safely predict that the men will have short fuses this week, so Gary better step it up.

As the teams split off Gary quickly assigned Meat Loaf to be the Chef for this task, which was a very crucial position. I was surprised to see that Gary didn't ask the men first to see if anyone had any cooking experience. To me that was a huge gamble. When you start any task or project, first things first you find out if anyone is an expert or has experience in the particular area. This way you are putting your strengths from the team in the right places. Gary seemed to be fixated on the "Kite" theme which is a little disconcerting considering he still had yet to delegate tasks to Lil Jon and John.

The ladies were busy brainstorming and I was wondering if Hope would have enough power and leadership in her to not let Star monopolize the task. As first glance it seemed that Star kept cutting Hope off and trying to take over. However, I was glad to see that Hope commanded the attention, firmly introducing herself as the PM when the executives came into the room.

The men's team continued to sit around with little or no direction from Gary. There was a hilarious conversation with someone from Omaha Steaks' customer service. John Rich intended to call the number on the box to gain some more information that could be potentially useful for them on this task. Gary was completely confused and had really no clue why he was on the phone. If this was any indication as to how the next 24 hours would go I think the men's team was in for a LONG day.

La Toya was probably wishing at this point in the task that she had spent a little more time in the kitchen during her life, admitting that her only feat in the kitchen was making an egg... I liked though that she didn't seem discouraged but rather up for the challenge. I think Hope did a good job delegating to the women, making sure that everyone had a job to do and was contributing to the task.

When Ivanka visited the men's team, she stepped into an intense therapy session, all of the team members giving her a look of "Help!" Frankly not what we are used to seeing out of team Backbone. Lil Jon went as far as to ask Ivanka to take him with her. Thankfully she didn't ask, as Lil Jon was soon after tasked with the "big" job of cutting up small squares of paper, one that my daughter could probably do. After Lil Jon finished his arts and crafts he was joining Gary in arranging tissue paper in a box, another "crucial" element. This was disappointing to see as Lil Jon historically has brought a lot of creativity and energy to each task thus far. I think that Gary was not utilizing his team members' talents or assigning them anything to do. As a result, it looked to me like a lot of sitting around for everyone besides Meat Loaf. When it came to the menu, John Rich made sure to ask Gary to sign off on the design, as he knew that it should be the PM who has final signoff on all of the teams' graphics. I liked seeing that on the day of the task, John Rich stepped up and asked Meat Loaf if he could assist regardless of the fact that Gary still hadn't really provided any direction.

The ladies were a little upset that they didn't have enough time to rehearse, but I think when you are dealing with a task against the clock, you aren't always able to have ample time to prepare. Therefore you've got to be able to adapt to any situation thrown at you. When the ladies finally did have time to rehearse, Hope was encouraging La Toya to project her voice louder. She also was able to handle NeNe's complaining and force her to get back on task. I think Hope did a good job handling the team with a positive attitude, avoiding the drama that usually arises.

It was time for the presentations and I think the ladies' team did a great job. La Toya threw out a big personal endorsement of Omaha Steaks, which is always great for the executives to hear. Secondly their "poker party" theme was a huge hit for the variety pack. The executives did mention that the women referred to the brand as "Omaha" without saying "Omaha Steaks," which was a bit of a negative. I think that's always an area to be aware of and careful of. I think the rule of thumb should be unless you are told the brand name's abbreviation or shortened nickname it's always a safer bet to use the proper name.

Meat Loaf took the stage and if he was nervous he definitely fooled everyone. He was very enthusiastic and excited about the products. Sure enough, Gary included the kite story into the presentation; it was very odd during Backbone's brainstorming session and even more awkward and confusing on stage. I think Gary should have taken a hint from the way his teammates reacted. But again, sometimes there is no reasoning with Gary. At the end of the presentation, Backbone picked three people to come up on stage and enjoy the meal.

The executives felt that both teams did a good job. They liked the enthusiasm from the men and thought Meat Loaf was terrific. They also felt that the women's team was very organized and they liked their poker-themed variety pack. The executives did wonder why Lil Jon and John Rich weren't more involved, something that surprised me as well, and was probably a result of Gary's leadership.

It was time for the Boardroom and for once this season the issues were on Ivanka's side of the Boardroom table with the men's team. It didn't take long for Lil John, Meat Loaf and John Rich to voice their extreme frustration with Gary for yet another week. I think Gary should have quit with the kite story after his presentation; when he attempted to explain it to my father, Ivanka and me, he left us laughing since we had such a hard time following where he was going. The ladies all had rave reviews for Hope as PM and were all very happy with how things went this week.

My father delivered the news that overall, the executives felt the women were far better than the men's team. As a result, Hope raised $20,000 to her charity, Best Buddies. Also, Omaha Steaks would sell A.S.A.P.'s themed variety pack with part of the proceeds going to Best Buddies as well.

As the men were left in the Boardroom I was surprised to see how visibly distraught Meat Loaf had become. This task had torn him up so badly he'd even lost the ability to communicate. I think that after the last few weeks, Gary had really driven the men's team close to the edge. At first they believed that Gary was a sometimes-brilliant, sometimes-scattered kind of guy, which was fine with the team until Gary started to become a detriment. When we asked Gary to pick two people to come back in he really couldn't do so. We all like Gary very much but it was time for Gary to go and he was fired. We all agreed that this week he was the obvious choice to go home. I think that the team dynamic will change drastically next week, so I was looking forward to seeing if Team Backbone could make a comeback!

I hope you all enjoyed this week's Celebrity Apprentice. Thank you for all your comments and tweets. Please continue to share them with me here on the blog and on my Twitter page (www.twitter.com/donaldjtrumpr). See you next week!

Hey Apprentice Fans! Hope you all had a great weekend. Last week was a record breaker and we began this week watching Marlee proudly give a check to the Starkey Hearing Foundation for one million dollars! Incredible. Truthfully, there were no losers last week (well, maybe Richard as he was sent home), but both teams did a terrific job and John Rich and Marlee were able to bring home huge checks for their charities. It was back to business very soon though and with any luck the teams would bring their enthusiasm and "sunny" attitudes to the next challenge.

My father, Ivanka and I met the teams on a cold but sunny day and brought with us the executives from Australian Gold, the makers of sunscreen, body lotion and fragrance. The skin care industry is a multi-billion-dollar industry, so the teams would have to work hard to impress Steve Hilbert, his wife Tomisue and head of sales, Melinda Travis. The teams were assigned to build a 10 by 10-foot themed glass box and environment that embodied the brand's personality. The teams would be joining "The Gold Life" and would be judged on creativity, originality, brand messaging and marketing. When my father asked who would be the project managers, La Toya jumped at the chance, very eager to show her team what she was capable of. Mark stepped up on behalf of Backbone. The reward this week was $40,000 to his or her charity, $20,000 of which would come from the executives of Australian Gold. I was glad that La Toya stepped up and was looking forward to seeing if she could not only surprise her teammates but also win back their respect as part of the team. At this point the ladies have expressed on multiple occasions that they felt La Toya was not a leader and didn't really "do" anything per se during any of the tasks.

As the teams broke out, La Toya would soon see that she had not only a tough job to do but also teammates that were determined to make it a little harder on her than other PMs for the team. To me, as a leader, it makes it very difficult if your teammates aren't supporting you 100 percent. Team Backbone was brainstorming and came up with a "pirate" theme. Mark made a very bold statement: as he came up with the theme, he said that if they didn't win he would take the blame. The executives visited the men's team and further solidified the concept for them when Tomisue mentioned that one of the tag lines for the Australian Gold Product is "Treasure Life's Moments." The executives ALMOST got away without an inappropriate comment from Gary, but of course he snuck one in, telling the executives that their product gives you a "sexual feeling," leaving his teammates shaking their heads and the executives feeling uncomfortable to say the least.

In the meantime La Toya delegated tasks to the ladies, assigning Marlee and NeNe on creative, Hope on costumes and Star on graphics. As the teams were brainstorming their interactive campaign there were a lot of uncertainties and La Toya was not making any firm decisions. This to me was a mistake on La Toya 's part because as a leader, her team was looking to her to be organized and make decisions quickly. Her indecisiveness could certainly be looked at as a weakness. The ladies finally decided on a beach theme, highlighting fun in the sun. This seemed to be a safe bet and an obvious choice for the product. I just wondered if it would be too safe. I was also very surprised that La Toya put Hope on costumes rather than putting her in a bikini for the event. Not utilizing Playmate of the Year? I am sure that will not go unnoticed.

As the teams headed over to the prop house, Lil Jon was tasked with not only finding pirate costumes but also babysitting Gary. I think at this point the men's team strategically placed Gary as far as possible away from the PM. You could tell that Lil Jon was losing his patience with Gary and I was hoping he would hold it together long enough not to freak out like Meat Loaf did last week.

When Marlee, NeNe and Hope were at the prop house they still felt like they had no idea what their concept was. They knew that there would be palm trees and koala bears but had no idea what else the team's concept entailed. At this point in the task one of the most important duties as a PM is to make sure the concept is understood by all that are executing it, and from what I saw that was not the case. All the ladies did know was that they were responsible for picking up 125 fifty-pound bags of sand. Enough for a small beach?! That might be a little excessive.

Ivanka visited the men's team and was impressed by the chant that they had come up with and their vibrancy. I think that is something I look forward to every week, which is the energy that the group collectively brings to their tasks. Last week, Mark said he was proud to be a part of Team Backbone. Camaraderie is so important and even despite the issues Meat Loaf had last week, during the event the men always turn it on. I've also seen that on Team Backbone, the men always are very supportive of the team leader, which is crucial during any competition.

During the construction of the displays the men's team had a little too much fun "weathering" the boxes. I was concerned to hear Gary say, "I do this a lot" in reference to beating things with chains... I don't think I want to know. La Toya, with no experience in construction, rolled her sleeves up and began spackling. When the ladies arrived from the prop house they were surprised, as they didn't know they would be actually constructing the display. This was a clear example of how communication was lacking on Team A.S.A.P..

During the morning of the task La Toya decided that their display needed something else. I liked that she made an executive decision and, since she wasn't satisfied with the concept, made a change. I do however think as a leader when you decide to change the concept you should be sure your team is aware of the change and is supporting the change, since they are selling the product as well and representing you. Should the concept not work, that will surely be brought up in the Boardroom. When I checked in with the ladies' team as they began their day of "fun in the sun," I knew that I'd be able to get an honest "no filter" response from NeNe. As I suspected, NeNe in her koala suit insisted that she didn't think La Toya was a great PM, even going so far as to say, "I'll be surprised if we won." Not a great attitude and definitely in NeNe-like fashion she didn't hold back. Walking away from their concept I knew that if they lost, the women would have a lot to say about La Toya.

While Backbone was getting set up Mark continuously told Gary, "Show me your value, I'm trusting you Gary." I think strategically Mark was saying this as a "watch out and you better behave" type tone. Gary must have missed all the signals because when the executives showed up during the task, he whisked them away, totally ignoring all the subtle hints from his team members. He not only pitched himself for their product but also didn't show the executives around the experience that Team Backbone had worked so hard on. It wasn't the best "first impression" of the men's team for the executives. As we all know first impressions are usually very lasting, so hopefully for the men's team they were able to wow them with a theme and the rest of their experience.

The executives of Australian Gold enjoyed their experience at Team A.S.A.P.s event. They liked the winter theme that La Toya added, which made a "safe" concept a little more original. Overall both teams impressed the executives and they enjoyed their creativity and creation of buzz surrounding the product. Buzz is such an important element in promotion because if you can leave people talking about an event or product, that alone is priceless.

After my father met with the executives it was time for the Boardroom and when the teams sat down, my father first asked NeNe how it went. Her response was just "okay." It was brought up that the team thought La Toya was not a good leader. We were all very surprised to see that La Toya decided not to use Hope in the display.

Overall the ladies played it safe with a small twist and the men as usual thought outside the box. When my father asked how important it was for Mark to win, he said it was hugely important as he probably would be the one fired if they lost. He also said that if they lost on theme alone he couldn't bring his team up to the firing line. The men decided not to use a koala costume representing Surfing Sydney, Australian Gold's koala mascot, as they didn't want to take the chance that it wouldn't be the right color. That was a chance that they should have taken, as the execs felt like that not including the mascot as part of the branding integration in their display was a mistake.

When we went over all the positives and negatives, the executives felt that the women did a great job on messaging, loved the usage of their koala mascot, liked the summer/winter theme, but did feel that they under-utilized their natural talent, especially Hope, the team's very own Playmate of the Year, in this task. Ivanka shared that the executives loved the men's interaction with the product and their chant but didn't like the men's pirate theme, and also were unhappy with the way Gary pitched himself to be in their ads. Ultimately they felt that the ladies' team had done a better job and my father congratulated La Toya on her win as project manager. La Toya would receive a check for $40,000 to her charity, AIDS Project LA. Although I didn't agree with all of La Toya 's actions as PM I did like that La Toya did not play into any of the negative feelings which her team, especially NeNe, was displaying towards her. She kept her head up and kept moving, making it her goal to win this task... and she did. Although there were no congratulatory wishes from team A.S.A.P. to La Toya; NeNe especially let loose on her. Get ready because I don't think that will be the last of NeNe speaking her mind.

Back in the Boardroom the drama was escalating and you'd be right in guessing that Gary was involved. The team all made it clear that they felt Gary was a liability and that they had to create tasks for him just to keep him from doing any damage. They also felt that the comments made to Tomisue during the first executive meeting were unnecessary and inappropriate. When my father asked Mark to bring back two people in the Boardroom, Mark insisted on bringing only one: Gary. I think that was a mistake on Mark's part because he was increasing the possibility of himself getting fired. He could have brought someone else in as an advocate.

Despite the issues Gary caused, it was not his lack of focus or off-color comments but rather the pirate theme that caused Team Backbone to lose the task. And as Mark said, if it's solely the theme that lost the task, then he should be the one to go. It was a tough decision but Mark was fired. My father took the opportunity though to scold Gary, saying he had better shape up. I think we are all a little tired of hearing the complaints and as my father reiterated, the members of Backbone can't all be wrong. I was hoping that after my father's comments to Gary, which are never easy to hear, he would step up and change his ways going forward. If not, I think Gary will be back in the Boardroom soon.
