With her exotic looks, prodigious talent, infectious energy, and savvy business acumen, Lisa Rinna has become one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood. Rinna and husband Harry Hamlin just wrapped the first season of their TV Land original series "Harry Loves Lisa." The new series, which premiered October 6, 2010, focuses on the relationship between Lisa and Harry as they navigate through the highs and lows as a devoted family living a hectic Hollywood lifestyle.
Rinna also recently released her second book, "STARLIT," filled with colorful characters, Hollywood insider details, scandalous backstabbing, and more than a few scenes - and villains - from Lisa' real life. Last year, Rinna published her first book, "Rinnavation." Rinna has released a series of fitness DVDs for Warner Home Video called "Lisa Rinna: Dance Body Beautiful," featuring workouts created by Rinna and "Dancing with the Stars" choreographer Louis van Amstel.
Rinna recently served as host and fashion expert for TV Guide Network's signature Red Carpet pre-shows at Hollywood's biggest events, including the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actor's Guild Awards. Rinna's hosting credits include Oxygen's hair competition "Tease," and co-host of SOAPnet's daily talk show "Soap Talk" from 2002-2006, where she was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show Host. She also competed on the hit ABC series "Dancing with the Stars" and participated in the national "Dancing with the Stars" tour.
Rinna starred as Roxie Hart alongside her husband Harry Hamlin in the hit Broadway musical "Chicago." Before joining the Broadway cast on June 19, 2007, Rinna performed with the "Chicago" national tour.
Rinna starred as Billie Reed on "Days of our Lives" throughout the '90s and in 2002. Rinna also starred as love-to-hate-her Taylor McBride on Fox's long-running primetime smash "Melrose Place." Additionally, Rinna was also seen in a recurring role on the edgyUPN drama series "Veronica Mars," portraying one half of a movie star couple, opposite real-life husband Harry Hamlin.
Rinna hosted the hour-long reality series for Lifetime Television entitled "Merge," which focused on newly married couples trying to create a home that blends elements of each person's past. Lisa was also seen as a special correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight" and "Access Hollywood."
Lisa starred in the Lifetime Original movie "Sex, Lies and Obsession," opposite husband Harry Hamlin. Her previous Lifetime film, "Another Woman's Husband," boasted one of the highest ratings for any film ever on the network. In 2007, Rinna appeared as Donna Devaney, a love interest for Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon), in HBO's Emmy-nominated series "Entourage."
In May 2002, Rinna embraced her lifelong love of fashion, and opened her own women's clothing boutique, Belle Gray, named after her daughters Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray. In June 2005, Rinna opened her second Belle Gray boutique, which is located in The Commons of Calabasas, California.
"The Oprah Winfrey Show" selected Belle Gray as one of Celebrities' Favorite Places, and featured a star-studded in-store tour with Belle Gray shopper Cindy Crawford.
Rinna currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
Lisa Rinna decided to play for the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund because both her mother and her sister were diagnosed with cancer within the same year. Both women are now cancer survivors, thanks in large part to early detection. The Women's Cancer Research Fund raises critical funds to help continue research to find an early cure. Lisa chose this charity as a way to personally contribute to the search for a cure while also honoring her mother and sister.
