Aubrey O'Day is playing for GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, which works to educate teachers, students and the public about the damaging effects of homophobia and bullying and recruits teachers to serve as allies for troubled youth. As a youth, Aubrey never felt like she fit in and frequently encountered bullies, so she was drawn to this charity due to its strong anti-bullying stance in the wake of recent youth suicides in the LGBT community. Since Aubrey believes that middle school and high school are the most vital years in a young person's development, she wants to fight to make those years as inclusive and accepting as possible.
