Q) What was it like hearing the words "You're fired?" A) I was bummed but saw it coming a mile away. It was my fault for not revealing my whole hand in the boardroom.
Q) Did you agree with Trump's rationale for your firing? Or did you think one of the other contestants deserved it more? A) It just was my time. I can't say I wasn't disappointed. I went into this experience wanting to win. Did someone else deserve it more? Possibly. I was fired based on sales, but in my defense, I was assigned tasks other than sales, and felt I totally came through for the team.
Q) What moment or moments on the show were you surprised to see? A) I was surprised by our sales restrictions, as I had some great ideas that I knew would actually work. In any game, I know there are rules to follow, yet I don't always have to agree with those rules. I'm confident I did my best.
Q) Do you feel as though you've made any lasting friendships and business relationships from the show? With whom? A) Totally made friends with a lot of the contestants. Gene, Tyana, Nicole, Kelly, Mahsa, Poppy, Brandi, Clint, Anand, Dave - pretty much everyone, including the PAs and production crew - they were awesome, and really bent over backwards to take care of us.
Q) What was the best part of your experience? Why? A) Being part of the only men's group to win the first challenge. In all other seasons with regular people, men vs. women, it was the women who always won the first challenge. Our group changed that, and I hope this is something that's inspiring to America.
Q) What have you been doing since being on the show? A) WORKING!!!! I have a great new position with the engineering firm Earth Systems Pacific, and now I'm actually working at my dream job. I'm a construction management inspector and materials tester.
Q) Has the experience changed you? Do you approach decisions differently now? A) No not at all. It only made me miss my family and push like mad to keep them safe and carefree.
Q) What has the experience taught you about people? A) Some people don't hear you even if they're listening, although I recognize that fault in myself sometimes.
