A mockumentary that looks at the exciting world of local government. This half-hour comedy examines the mundane but necessary ways people interact with their government, and ask why it's frequently so complicated - as everyone knows from standing in line at the DMV, applying for home construction permits, or trying to get the city to fix a pothole.
EP 222: Telethon Leslie hosts a late-night shift for a local telethon, and lands former Indiana Pacer Detlef Schrempf as a celebrity guest. Meanwhile, Mark has big plans for his relationship with Ann.
Packer_Todd_F says:What a terrific episode, one of the best! Solid through and through. So much great stuff.
EP 223: The Master Plan Leslie's disappointed when two state auditors put her new park plans on hold. April celebrates her 21st birthday at the Snakehole Lounge.
Wedd329 says:I liked this episode - Ron cracking up was killing me! And poor Andy! "That Ralph Macchio dude was a real douche." Hopefully these two crazy kids can get it together. And Leslie and Ben? Too cute!
EP 224: Freddy Spaghetti When Ben, the state auditor, prevents Leslie from holding a children's concert, she takes matters into her own hands. Mark makes some big decisions about his life, and Andy gets some unexpected romantic attention.
Diapers says:Ron has grown on me a lot over the past season. I hope they lean a little bit more on the relationship between him and Leslie in the future. There's a lot of room to exploit the gap between their ideals, and both of them are going to have to concede that the other one is right once in a while. They really do need each other. Ron was great while defending Leslie's role in the department. How cool was it that he got her elevated to "essential"?

EP 222: Telethon
Joya says about this episode:
The Pawnee employees were in rare form in "Telethon," from Ron's so-boring-it's-genius chair caning, to Tom's attempt to show off with Detlef Schrempf at the Snakehole Lounge. Leslie, as always, tries to save the day. Great cameo by Mo Collins as Pawnee Today host Joan Callamezzo.

EP 223: The Master Plan
Robb says about this episode:
Rob Lowe and Adam Scott do a very funny job playing the state auditor version of good cop/bad cop. I'm a big Ron Swanson fan, and it's hilarious watching him nearly lose his mind with joy at the prospect of the city government being disbanded.

This episode has so many laugh-out-loud moments - I nearly did a spit take with my coffee the first time I saw this episode! Rob Lowe is hilarious in his guest-starring role as a state auditor with a crush on Ann. If you've never watched this show, now's the time to start. It's one of the best comedies on television!
