Give him your regards, because Backstage Baby is no more.
The Act Break is sad to report the blogger writing under the name Backstage Baby has departed to pursue a directing gig he landed this summer at the O'Neill Theater Center.
But no need to fear, loyal readers - we'll still have all the juiciest gossip from on and off the Great White Way. And what better place to start than with "Bombshell," the Eileen Rand-produced Marilyn Monroe musical that has more lives than an American Shorthair?
Although reviews from Boston don't hit until tomorrow, we're hearing good things about Karen Cartwright. The starlet's had a week to settle into the role, and insiders say she gets stronger with each performance.
Also strong? Ticket sales for the three-week limited run. Could "Bombshell" come to Broadway this season? All signs point to "yes" - assuming there aren't any complications...
