So you're welcome for being the sole soul-sucking B'way blogger to score so many juicy tidbits - and let me tell you, there are tidbits galore! By now, it's COMMON KNOWLEDGE that Little Miss Ivy Lynn has scored more with director Derek Wills than just the lead role - that was pretty evident after Lyle West's bday party (by the way, where was MY invite?!) BUT has all her hard "work" really paid off? My twinkle-toed sources tell me that Wills has been riding Ivy hard in rehearsals as well. Apparently, Little Miss Lynn has been struggling to get all of Marilyn's idiosyncrasies down! And she may have even needed some help from Iowa corn husk-turned-chorus girl Karen Cartwright. OUCH. Vocal help from a chorus girl? That's the stuff nightmares are made of. AMIRIGHTORAMIRIGHT? Hope he doesn't push Lynn too far - I 'd hate to see the girl crack before she makes it to that big Broadway spotlight! Wills seems to be working his ensemble to the bone... I wonder what Julia Houston and Tom Levitt have to say about it? They've been oddly silent in the Broadway world lately, I wonder what's been keeping them so preoccupied??
