Gino Anthony Pesi plays Assistant District Attorney James Nava on the NBC drama "Shades of Blue."

Pesi is a film, television and stage actor with more than 40 film and television credits.

Pesi has appeared on numerous TV series, including "Dallas," "Grimm," "The Vampire Diaries," "The Client List," "Franklin & Bash," "Common Law" and "Unleashed."

Pesi's film credits include "42," co-starring with Harrison Ford, Nicole Beharie and Christopher Meloni; "Battle: Los Angeles," with Aaron Eckhart and Ne-Yo; and "Takers," along with Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen, Matt Dillon and Idris Elba.

Pesi pursued his Bachelor of Fine Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio.
