New York, NY - May 5, 2010 - "Saturday Night Live" wraps the season with an Emmy award-winner and a Grammy award-winner, as Alec Baldwin
and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers take to studio 8H for the season
finale. Baldwin returns for his fifteenth time and will tie Steve
Martin for the show record for most host appearances. Tom Petty and The
Heartbreakers will make their eighth appearance as musical guest.

Baldwin has won two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, four SAG
Awards and a Television Critics Association Award for his hilarious
turn on NBC's hit show "30 Rock".
Baldwin garnered a 2004 Academy Award nomination for his role in "The
Cooler" opposite William H. Macy and won rave reviews for his
performance in Martin Scorsese's "The Departed". Other film credits
include "It's Complicated," "The Good Shepherd," "Prelude To A Kiss,"
"Malice," and "Ghosts of Mississippi," "The Edge," "Pearl Harbor" and
"The Cat in the Hat." Among his many stage credits, Baldwin won acclaim
and a Tony nomination for his work opposite Jessica Lange in "A
Streetcar Named Desire," which also garnered him an Emmy nomination for
the television adaptation. Baldwin has made his mark in the
entertainment business not only as an actor but also as a producer.
Baldwin's production company, El Dorado Pictures, co-produced the
Emmy-nominated miniseries "Nuremberg" and the feature film "State and
Main."
Tom
Petty and The Heartbreakers will make their eighth appearance as
musical guest on May 15th, making their first live television
appearance since headlining the Super Bowl XLII Halftime Show in 2008.
