Big news today: we woke up to 14 Emmy nominations!! We are incredibly proud and excited that so many of the extraordinarily talented and hardworking members of our cast and crew were recognized by the Television Academy.

This year's 14 nominations bring SNL's total number of Emmy nominations to 187, dating back to the show's inaugural season in 1975-76. The show has won 40 Emmy Awards in that span, breaking the record previously held by Frasier for the most Emmy wins by any single series. Revisit the show's classic sketches here.
