Bill Hader returns for his eighth season as a cast member on NBC's "Saturday Night Live." Hader recently earned an Emmy nomination in 2012 as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on the show.

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Hader made an early splash on "SNL" in 2005 with his uncanny impressions including, most notably, Al Pacino and Vincent Price. Other fan favorites include James Carville, the clueless Italian celebrity interviewer Vinny Vedecci, disgruntled news correspondent Herb Welch, and Stefon, the hipster New York City nightlife correspondent on "Weekend Update."

In 2009, Hader won an Emmy Award for Best Animated Series for his work as a producer on "South Park." Other TV credits include a guest appearance on the upcoming season of IFC's "Portlandia" alongside his SNL co-star Fred Armisen, and he will also appear on FOX's new sitcom "The Mindy Project" opposite Mindy Kaling.

Hader has segued into the feature film world with an impressive list of acting credits to his name, including several Judd Apatow productions such as the hit comedies "Superbad" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." He has also appeared in Apatow's "Knocked Up" and "Pineapple Express." He was seen alongside "SNL" castmate in the feature comedy "Hot Rod," directed by Akiva Shaffer. In 2009, Hader co-starred in Greg Mottola's critically acclaimed box office hit "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" with Ben Stiller, and "Tropic Thunder" opposite Tom Cruise. Hader was the lead voice in the 3-D animated film "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" opposite Anna Faris, which earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Animated Feature. In 2011, he appeared in the comedy feature "Paul" with Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Kristen Wiig. The 2012 blockbuster "Men in Black 3" featured Hader as the iconic Andy Warhol.

Hader's upcoming films include the indie drama "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby" opposite James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain; The Larry David Movie for HBO, directed by Greg Mottola, which will be their fourth collaboration, and "The To Do List," a film written and directed by Hader's wife Maggie Carey. Hader will also be doing voiceover for the upcoming animated movies "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" and "Me and My Shadow" with Josh Gad.

Hader is a Second City Los Angeles alum. He currently lives in New York with his wife and their daughters. His birthday is June 7.
