Season premiere: LeBron James/Kanye West
Season premiere: LeBron James/Kanye West

It's great getting back to work and seeing everyone. We got right back into the insane schedule, writing until six or seven in the morning.
We got to meet LeBron on Monday as well as his friends who he brought along for the week. They were all so cool and nice and really good laughers. There was a point where they were all busy texting which made me want to take out my iPhone to do the same thing. We started comparing stories about how addicted we all are to it. I always feel this need to reply to a text no matter where I am or who is talking to me. LeBron showed us how he can actually look someone in the eye while typing a message. I was very impressed.
Will's Lyle Kane sketch I loved. That just comes from him walking around the office talking like that. Him, Bill, and John Solomon, one of the writers, greet each other like that all the time.
I can't believe how cool and funny Kanye was. He seemed really happy to be there and was super friendly. He was so good in that sketch! I love that he brought that orchestra too.
I got to be in a Penelope sketch. The funny thing is hearing Kristen do that character up close. It's hard not to laugh through the whole thing.
For the High School Musical dance parts, Danielle (our choreographer) was standing right in front of us behind the camera and did the moves as we followed along. Having those other professional dancers with us makes it look like we know what we're doing.
Those Solid Gold Costumes were amazing and gross at the same time. When the cast was walking down the hall like that, you could hear a mix of "yeah!" and "eeeewwww!"
Andy, Jorma and Akiva started recording the Iran So Far song on Tuesday. They do it all in their tiny office. It's pretty much Jorma's computer and a microphone. We were scheduled to shoot around the city on Thursday. I was psyched because I had already been watching Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on TV a lot. I noticed that he always had his eyebrows in exactly the same position no matter what he was doing. A permanent upside down V. Let me see if I can find something here on my keyboard. Here... / \ We shot a bunch in Times Square, and there were times where I was pretty far from the crew. So I was kind of alone walking around dressed like that while looking at postcards. It took a lot of last minute scheduling to get Adam Levine. They only had one day to record and shoot his part of the song. He flew in at midnight, did his vocals, and shot around the city at 8am. By 11 he was back on a plane to Detroit. Thank you Adam!
