Season 38 kicked off with a bang, introducing three new cast members, a new Barack Obama and a drop-in from Psy for some Gangnam Style! John Mayer backed up Frank Ocean who killed.
Oh, and Seth MacFarlane was nothing short of dominant!

Before the season premiere tonight, why not take a couple of minutes and meet the new cast members! You can learn some pretty fun stuff like Aidy Bryant and Vanessa love hunks, Kenan's Cecily Strong impression is spot on and Tim Robinson discovered the hard way that Taran is kind of really scary. So check it out, and don't forget to catch the Season 38 premiere tonight with host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean!!

It's election season and that can only mean one thing: SNL Weekend Update Thursday! That's right, NBC is airing SNL live in primetime for two Thursdays: Sept 20th and Sept 27th. And if you want the chance to see these primetime shows live from the studio audience, check out the stand-by ticket policy below:
Stand-by tickets will be distributed at 10am on the 49th Street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the show (September 20 and September 27). You may choose a stand-by ticket for either the 6:00pm dress rehearsal or the 8:00pm live broadcast. Aside from minimal, necessary breaks, all stand-by line members must remain in line at all times. Stand-by tickets are limited to one per person and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Every member of the line is required to present a valid photo ID when the ticket is issued, as well as at the return time. Please note that all tickets are non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. NBC staff reserves the right to revoke or not issue any ticket to anyone in line if proper procedures are not followed. Please arrive no later than 5:00pm for the dress rehearsal or 6:45pm for the live show. A stand-by ticket does not guarantee admission and no one under the age of 16 will be admitted.
