It was another great night in Studio 8H. We were so excited to have Maya back, and the roster of special appearances was really, really great.
Unsurprisingly, our host and musical guest looked wonderful in this week's bumper photos. Another fantastic job by Mary Ellen Matthews!

To enter the Saturday Night Live ticket lottery for the upcoming 2012-2013 season send an email in the month of August only to snltickets@nbcuni.com. Please include all contact information and do not request a specific date. If you are selected, you will receive two tickets to a random show date and time. You may only send o ne email per household and all audience members must be at least 16 years of age. Please note that entering the lottery does not guarantee tickets, and you will only be notified in the event that you are chosen.

Maya Rudolph returns to 8H this week when she hosts SNL for her first time, with musical guest Sleigh Bells! Maya's return marks the 26th time a former cast member has been tapped for hosting duties, joining the likes of Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. We've been having so much fun having Maya back in the office, we thought we'd share the love with some of our favorite Maya sketches from her days in the cast!
