It's almost Thanksgiving and in honor of this gut-busting holiday, we here in the Backstage Blog thought we'd spend all week pre-busting your gut with laughs! So sit back and enjoy as we give thanks with some of our favorite Thanksgiving sketches!
Up first is an SNL classic that seems tailor-made for a Thanksgiving edition. As a matter of fact, we're hard-pressed to come up with any other SNL characters that love food and football more! From the Macaulay Culkin show on November 23rd 1991, here's "Bill Swerski's Super Fans." And please everyone, do remember to chew your pork chops before swallowing.

We're excited to announce that Katy Perry will be hosting SNL for her first time December 10th with musical guest Robyn!! Yep, you heard right, Katy Perry is hosting. We had so much fun with her last year during her cameo in "Bronx Beat" that we couldn't resist inviting her back for more! And now that all the December hosts and musical guests have finally been revealed, we can all get on with enjoying the holidays without the nail-biting suspense.
Here, from last season's premiere hosted by Amy Poehler with musical guest Katy Perry, is "Bronx Beat" featuring Perry and a very stretched-out Elmo.
