Memorable Baldwin: Paul Brittain's Pick

Posted September 21, 2011 11:03 AM

Second year cast member Paul Brittain (best known for his Johnny Depp and James Franco impressions and his character "Sex" Ed Vincent) knew exactly which Baldwin sketch was his most memorable. Citing a love for Will Ferrell's "Inside the Actors' Studio," Brittain named Baldwin's appearance in the sketch as his all-time favorite. Adding, "Charles Nelson Reilly is such a funny choice to be on that show, and then Alec's performance, using so few actual words, is just hilarious."

Memorable Baldwin: Kenan Thompson's Pick

Kenan Thompson, entering his ninth year as a cast member at SNL, wasted no time making his pick for most Memorable Baldwin sketch, saying "it's gotta be Schweddy Balls, I mean, right?" And if Kenan's endorsement isn't enough, Ben & Jerry's recent decision to honor the sketch with it's very own ice cream flavor certainly indicates that Schweddy Balls is as classic Baldwin/SNL as it gets.

Fun fact: Even though "NPR: Schweddy Balls" is probably the most remembered, Baldwin's appearance marked the ninth time the NPR sketch was seen on SNL.
