Actor Bio

Dax Shepard made his television debut on MTV's "Punk'd," starring in the first season of the prankster reality show, and receiving a Teen Choice Award nomination in 2003. Shepard has also voiced characters for "King of the Hill" and "Robot Chicken."

This fall, Shepard can be seen in the critically acclaimed 2010 Sundance favorite "The Freebie." Shepard's additional film credits include "When in Rome," "Baby Mama," "Zathura," "Idiocracy," "Let's Go to Prison," "Employee of the Month, and "Without a Paddle."

Born and raised in Michigan, Shepard graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a degree in anthropology. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
