Max Braverman

Max Burkholder portrays Max Braverman, Adam (Peter Krause) and Kristina's (Monica Potter) son on NBC's drama series "Parenthood." Quirky and sweet, but also emotionally isolated, Max Braverman was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and often experiences challenges in navigating new environments.

Burkholder began his career in entertainment at a very young age and continues to develop and shine as a skilled actor, voicing characters for TV, film and commercials. In 2004, at the age of seven, Burkholder received a Young Artist Association's Young Artist Award nomination for his performance in the Eddie Murphy film comedy "Daddy Day Care."

His other film credits include "The Purge" opposite Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey, "The Rainbow Tribe," "Love for Rent," "Friends with Money" and "Fathers and Sons." Burkholder has also voiced characters in films and television programs such as "The Land Before Time," "My Friends Tigger and Pooh," "Family Guy," "Fly Me to the Moon," "Princess Stories," "Red Bull" and "Arthur's Lost Pet."

Burkholder's television credits include guest-starring and recurring roles in "Private Practice," "Grey's Anatomy," "Brothers & Sisters," "In Treatment," "CSI: Miami," "CSI: NY" and "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody." He was a series regular on "Commando Nanny" and starred in the made-for-television movie "Points of Entry." In 2012, Burkholder accepted the role of Charlie in Universal's sci-fi thriller "Vigilandia."
