The Bravermans are officially off the bubble: NBC has renewed Parenthood for a 15-episode fourth season.
Although the family drama was listed as a safe bet on TVLines 2012 Renewal Scorecard, the recent cone of silence from NBC about the shows future combined with the leak of an unofficial (and likely fake) schedule that had Phood MIA triggered a wave of cancellation anxiety across the Twitterverse over the past 48 hours.
Parenthood is the second veteran Peacock drama (joining Law & Order: SVU) to get renewed by NBC ahead of next weeks official schedule announcement. NBC also has picked up second seasons of the freshman dramas Grimm and Smash.

This is an awesome show. Finally one my husband and I enjoy watching together. Please do not cancel this show. It has a great storyline, awesome characters and wonderful actors. I count the days until the next episode. This really is a great show. NBC Be proud of it and keep it going. Thank you.

I Love, Love, Love this show! No other show makes me laugh and cry at the same time. What an enduring cast . So believable in every part.
I saw Julia Stiles was asked on twitter which guest stars she would like to see on the show. I'm starting this thread to lobby to have actors from the movie make guest spots on the show. Mary Steenburgen or Dianne Wiest would make great quirky aunts on the show. Rick Moranis, Tom Hulce, Martha Plimpton, or other folks from the movie would be great. I know Steve Martin is busy.
