Aimee Teegarden portrays Julie Taylor in NBC's critically acclaimed dramatic series "Friday Night Lights."
On the big screen, Teegarden will star in Disney's upcoming teen comedy "Prom" directed by Joe Nussbaum, set to premiere on April 29th. Teegarden will also be seen in Wes Craven's long-awaited thriller "Scream 4," and has recently completed the indie film "Beneath the Darkness" with Dennis Quaid, which she also co-produced. Teegarden will soon be appearing in the Warner Bros. New Media Feature "Aim High" opposite Jackson Rathbone.
Teegarden recently produced her first feature film, "Beautiful Wave," a coming-of-age film set in the surf community of Southern California. Some of her other feature credits include, "For Sale By Owner" with Skeet Ulrich and Rachel Nichols, the family drama "Call of the Wild" with Christopher Lloyd, and "The Perfect Age of Rock 'n' Roll" produced by Spike Lee and Mike Ellis.
Teegarden's television appearances include the recurring role of Rhonda Kimble on "90210," as well as guest appearances on "Cold Case," Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified Survival Guide" and Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana."
Born and raised in Southern California, Teegarden began modeling and acting at the age of 10, and since then she has modeled for campaigns including Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Alltel, YMI jeans and the national print campaign for Hollister.
In addition to acting and modeling, Teegarden enjoys surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, boxing and hanging out with the love of her life, her dog Gizmo. Teegarden currently resides in Los Angeles.
