PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA WILL APPEAR IN STUDIO ON "THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO" ON THURSDAY, MARCH 19

BURBANK - March 16, 2009 - President Barack Obama will be making his first sit-down talk show appearance in studio in front of a live audience since becoming elected on Thursday, March 19 on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (Monday - Friday, 11:35 p.m.-12:37 a.m. ET on NBC). This marks the first appearance of a sitting President on a late night talk show.

Among other topics, President Obama will be sitting down to talk about his economic plan. President Obama made his first "Tonight Show" appearance on December 1, 2006.
