Flu vaccine deemed safe for pregnant women

Jan. 16: A new study from researchers in Norway examined more than 117,000 pregnancies and found the flu shot does not increase the chance of miscarriage. Pregnant women who received a flu vaccine and still got the flu had a lower chance of miscarriage than those who became ill without having gotten the flu shot.
