While free agency doesn't officially open until tomorrow at 4 p.m., talks were permitted to begin last Friday at midnight. However, after a weekend that many thought would be filled with updates and agreements in principle, commissioner Roger Goodell silenced all discussions with a Friday afternoon warning.
