Position statement: Brady helps Pats create cap space
Patriots QB Tom Brady has signed a three-year, $27 million contract extension, which will pay him significantly less for the 2015-2017 seasons. Mike Florio says the Pats were looking to create cap space now, and the deal will likely change before 2015 when Brady is set to make $7 million. (NBC Sports)
