Will Congress strike a deal and avoid the 'fiscal cliff'?
Although there is some optimism in the Senate that a deal can be reached in the next 48 hours, others say it's easier to simply go off the 'cliff.' Next week, if a deal isn't reached, the same proposed legislation would amount to a tax decrease, which may appeal to lawmakers. NBC's Chuck Todd reports. (Nightly News)
