Wondering what's happened to last season's candidates? We caught up with some of them and here's what they had to say about their Apprentice experience.

ROB

How did appearing on The Apprentice change your life?

I would say that although my appearance on the show was somewhat limited, it was a wonderful experience that I am extremely proud of. It’s been an incredible journey that has thrown me into a world I never expected. I've been invited to attend red carpet events, private parties, and most importantly, business conferences and associations. I've been able to network and promote my business at a level that was once more of a challenge where now I'm being invited to make presentations. It has also been quite interesting juggling the demanding schedule of running a business while living in the limelight over the past eight months. I've had incredible support from my friends, family and business partners that makes me proud to be associated with such people. The most profound lesson I learned while being away during the filming was to truly appreciate the time I have with the people that matter most in my life. I put myself in a situation where I was completely absent for 60 days with very limited to no contact with the people I love and it has made me realize just how precious even five minutes can be. I am thankful that the experience has gained exposure for my business, given me priceless friendships, and has made me stop and smell the proverbial flowers once in a while.

Who, if anyone, from the show do you keep in contact with?

I am proud to say that due to my participation on the show, I have made some lifelong friends. I keep in contact with almost everyone for the most part. I was fortunate enough to remain in the good graces of everyone and vice versa regarding the "game” aspect of the show. I am closest with Pamela, Elizabeth, John, Raj, Jen C. and Bradford. Bradford and I recently started a company designing women's tee-shirts which we're looking to launch sometime in March. Also, I am very good friends with Heidi from the first season who is as kind and sincere as she is beautiful! (no, she didn't make me say that!)

In your opinion, what three words best describe Donald Trump?

Charismatic, genuine, and loyal. I've been able to attend a few Apprentice events with Mr. Trump and the time I've had to spend with him has confirmed those traits exactly.

What advice can you offer to anyone applying to be the next Apprentice?

The best advice I could give is to be true to yourself, have an iron constitution, and don't take crap from anyone, anytime, anywhere. It’s a highly competitive game which attracts the most competitive people who are all there for one reason -- to win. It’s difficult to be thrown into a "team" game, only to eliminate your teammates who might have been your biggest asset in the previous task. I'll also say that if you are chosen, be big, be dynamic, and go for the throat. That's why you were picked, so let it all hang out. Most importantly, just remember to have a blast, enjoy the experience, and laugh a lot; that is what life is all about!!
