Episode 11
Anger Mismanagement and Arrested Development
"I hope they find that credit card so I don't have to find an aluminum bat and break somebody's kneecaps." ~ Chris at Best Buy after forgetting his credit card.
Well folks, you heard it here first. Last week, (see episode 10), I strongly suggested that our hotheaded wannabe apprentice head directly to some serious anger management classes and now I’m convinced of it. After this week’s episode and current breaking news headlines, I’m talking, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars. Chris, my angry little man, you have problems, some real serious problems! Actually, I’m kind of afraid to comment any further on this subject, for fear that our barmy individual may come after me, but what the hell, I’ve been through worse, right? So let’s roll!
For starters…NEWS FLASH! Our self-proclaimed real estate millionaire was arrested OFF CAMERA on a disorderly conduct charge this past weekend. Shocker, huh? Apparently our millionaire was, you guessed it…ANGRY about a $20 dollar cover charge they asked him to pay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa Florida. Aside from Chris’s off-camera antics, I can’t believe that this loud, foul-mouthed, tobacco-chewing, angry young egomaniac has even made it this far on the show, let alone on this task without getting fired. Unlike Alex, my official “under the radar player”, (which I’ll get to in a moment), it just seems so obvious and it doesn’t get anymore frustrating to watch. Instead, even after losing a $5,000 credit card, let alone his bogus contribution to the task, Chris stays and Angie gets fired? Oh the insanity! Donald, what were you thinking?
Then we have Alex. As previously stated, my “under the radar player”. (I told you they always go far.) Alex, although I think Chris should have been fired long before now for his total lack of self-control and obtuse mistakes, you my friend no doubt should have been accountable and fired as PM on this task. You completely mismanaged your entire team (all two of them). How you slide by every week is beyond me. What did you even contribute on this task? I’m sitting here thinking about it and I’m completely stumped. I can’t even come up with one thing you did; I just can’t. I even taped the show to see if I missed something, but no. You had a laundry list of things for Angie to do (literally) and I think I saw one thing on that list with your name on it. If you even accomplished it, I didn’t see it. Alex, shame on you for throwing Angie under the bus when she did almost everything, you did nothing and Chris even lost the credit card. It was awful, but who knows, Karma’s a bitch and your “under the radar” days could be numbered.
Moving on. Angie, Angie, Angie, you must feel so wronged right now and all I can say is that I’m sorry. You never should have been fired on this task. You know that and so does everyone else watching with an ounce of common sense. Even Carolyn sided with you and called out Chris. And although your presentation wasn’t the best, who cares? You had no time to prepare for it, thanks to Alex, and you did EVERYTHING else besides. Many times this game just isn’t fair and DT actually doesn’t always make the right decision (believe it or not ~ sarcastic). So again Angie, I’m sorry. I’m sure you’ll be extremely successful outside of the golden towers in whatever it is you decide to do.
Last but not least we have our winners on team Magna. Congratulations guys and a special congratulation to Tana, on a second Project Manager win. That is no easy feat and again, you did a great job of not only leading your team to victory, but you kept them united, productive and proactive.
So finally we’re left with Tana, Kendra, Craig and Bren on Team Magna and only Chris and Alex on Net Worth. Now you know Trump won’t leave the teams so uneven, so expect some sort of team mix-up next week. Good luck with that one. I can see it now, “Who wants Chris?”
Well, as always this cast never ceases to amaze me. It’s been entertaining to say the least. I can’t wait to see what you’ll pull out of your hats next week.
Sincerely,
Your Apprentice Alumna,
Jennifer D. Crisafulli
