Wondering what's happened to last season's candidates? We caught up with some of them and here's what they had to say about their Apprentice experience.

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth

Read Omarosa's Weekly Commentary!

How did appearing on The Apprentice change your life and/or career plans?

I am proud to say that I am still on track to obtain my Doctorate degree at Howard University in the spring. I am currently running two businesses. I have continued to work as a national political fundraiser. I commute back and forth between DC and LA balancing projects in the entertainment, business and political arenas.

What were the best and worst things about the experience (during the show)?

The worst part of the show was being away from my wonderful husband Aaron, my family and friends and my dynamic students at Howard University.

The best thing about the experience was my great sense of accomplishment after (1) being selected out of 250,000 applicants (2) participating in such an awesome game show and (3) truly turning a bad situation into a very lucrative one!! Who knew that being soo bad could be soo good$$!!

Who, if anyone, from the show do you keep in contact with?

I will always value the lifelong friendships that formed during the filming of the Apprentice. Of all of the relationships that I have forged, my relationship with Donald Trump is the one that I value the most!

In your opinion, what three words best describe Donald Trump?

Omarosa, You're Fired!!

What are you up to now?

My performance on the Apprentice helped rekindled my passion for acting. I was proud to be the first Apprentice cast member to land roles on daytime and primetime shows. (Passions on NBC and Girlfriends on UPN). I love couture fashion and have enjoyed participating in a number of high-profile fashion shows. I will be making an appearance on the runway during fashion week in New York City. I am also developing a clothing line of my own set to hit next Spring.

My speaking engagements, lectures, special appearances and celebrity events are booked well into 2005 so look for me in a city near you. I also serve as the President of Access America Enterprise Corporation, a strategic planning and consulting service that combines first hand knowledge of government operations with a full service approach to custom business solutions.

In my "spare time" (LOL) I am writing a book and I play lots of golf with my close friends and business partners.

What advice can you offer to the new Apprentice candidates?

In the end there will be only one APPRENTICE, but if you play your cards right there can be many WINNERS. Good luck and be well. And remember the motto of the show is "IT'S NOT PERSONAL, IT'S BUSINESS!!" So don't take it personally like many of the contestants from the first season, always remember it's just a game!
