Wondering what's happened to last season's candidates? We caught up with some of them and here's what they had to say about their Apprentice experience.
JESSIE CONNERS
How did appearing on The Apprentice change your life and/or career plans?
I have learned SO much in the past year. Being on the show was amazing, but the true game didn't start till I got back home. The whirlwind of New York, and the intensified filming process was a lot to digest, but returning from the experience and the choices and decisions that would follow, I could not even imagine. I learned the value of focus, and the art of leverage. I wanted to make the most from this extraordinary opportunity, but the direction, initially, was not easily definable. Laying out my goals, I had to identify my purpose, and final anticipated product and make decisions accordingly. Instead of emotional decisions, and instant response, every decision made HAD to sit congruently with my long-term vision, and goals. As easy as this sounds, there were many tough choices that I had to make, but this was by far the best education of focus and commitment that I could ever have asked for...
Who, if anyone, from the show do you keep in contact with?
I keep in contact with Heidi, Bowie, Sam, Katrina, Jason... I pretty much get
along with everybody, except the few that think that their "Reality Show Prestige"
catapulted them into ultra-celebrity. Give me a break.
In your opinion, what three words best describe Donald Trump?
Smoke And Mirrors
What are you up to now?
I am President of two companies (Wealth.com and WealthMentoring.com).
Also, I have my real estate company specializing in Residential and Investment
properties. I have 4 employees currently focusing on sales, marketing and
management. We also have a niche market in creative real estate (tax liens,
contract for deed, and lease to own)I run three successful companies (listed
Above). I also do a lot of promotion in the Alternative Medicine and Chiropractic
Profession. Speaking, and consulting with doctors through my marketing firm
Exposure Marketing. I work constantly. And I work smart.
What advice can you offer to the new Apprentice candidates?
It's a television show, remember to utilize the opportunity and experience wisely. Don't get caught up in the celebrity hype. Leverage the experience, and create opportunities.
