Wondering what's happened to last season's candidates? We caught up with some of them and here's what they had to say about their Apprentice experience.

HEIDI BRESSLER

How did appearing on The Apprentice change your life and/or career plans?

The Apprentice has changed my life in that it is surreal. First of all I cannot walk down the street without being bombarded by fans. I am not complaining at all. The fans are great, especially the fans in NYC! The Apprentice allowed to me TO FINALLY leave corporate America. I was tired of making millions of dollars for a company and never even seeing half of that. Between speaking engagements, endorsements, consulting and writing a book, I am doing better financially then I have in all my years at Qwest. I LOVE NOT BEING IN A CUBICLE. Sure I travel weekly and life is crazy, but I would not change it for the world!

What were the best and worst things about the experience?

The best part of The Apprentice was being able to learn so much not only from Donald Trump but from the other candidates as well...even Omarosa! The Apprentice has opened SO many doors for me and I am grateful. The worst experience for me was finding out my mom had cancer. However, I truly believe the show helped her "heal." Even the doctors cannot believe how fast she recovered when she had Stage 3 cancer. I would also like to add that I can't thank the producers enough for their support. They were truly concerned about my mom. A special thanks to Mark Burnett, Jay Bienstock, Kathy and Annalee. They knew it would be part of the story, but the editing was done in such a classy way.

Who, if anyone, from the show do you keep in contact with?

I only keep in contact with Omarosa...JUST KIDDING!! Everyone was great but I am particularly good friends with Katrina, Nick, Sam, Jessie, Kwame and Troy. We all went through this experience together and bonded very quickly.

In your opinion, what three words best describe Donald Trump?

Donald Trump in three words is loyal, funny and sexy as hell!!

What are you up to now?

Being on The Apprentice has definitely changed my life. I am doing about four speaking engagements per week, which has been EXTREMELY lucrative. I am also in the middle of a book, an endorsement deal, and consulting for a very high tech firm. Every day something new opens up and I am just having fun with it all. I look at it as you never long how long it will last so just capitalize now! I work hard and am traveling non-stop but I have never been happier. You can visit my website, heidiabressler.com to keep up with me!

What advice can you offer to the new Apprentice candidates?

My advice to the new apprentices is to have fun with the whole experience. Enjoy the fame but do not let it go to your head. Most important is to never forget the people that got you on the show. You may bitch about some of the episodes and how you "appear," but at the end of the day this show will change your life. And tell anyone who is jealous about your experience to KISS YOUR BUTT!
