Wondering what's happened to last season's candidates? We caught up with some of them and here's what they had to say about their Apprentice experience.

AMY HENRY

How did appearing on The Apprentice change your life and/or career plans?

The Apprentice was a fantastic opportunity to showcase my work ethic, business acumen and personality on a national platform. I have spent the last six months writing, traveling around the country speaking, doing independent consulting and taking calls from executives around the country about employment opportunities. Who would have ever thought a television show would become an interview not only with Donald Trump, but for 25 million others as well? It has been a priceless adventure that has definitely changed my life!

What were the best and worst things about the experience?

Best - my sister surprising me on the trip to Miralago on Trump's Jet

Worst - sharing a kitchen with 16 others and seeing some of the ridiculously short skirts I decided to wear "to work."

Who, if anyone, from the show do you keep in contact with?

I went to Kristi's wedding recently and am glad to have made a life-long friend!

I recently threw the first pitch at the Rangers with fellow Texan, Bowie and also have frequently seen Bill, Kwame and Ereka in NYC this summer as well.

In your opinion, what three words best describe Donald Trump?

Witty, charming, genius!

What are you up to now?

I have recently done some work at CNBC and finished my book due out in September, What It Takes: Speak Up, Step Up, Move Up. I will be traveling the country promoting the book and speaking at business conferences and universities. Check out my website, www.ameliahenry.com for my travel schedule to major cities across the country.

What advice can you offer to the new Apprentice candidates?

  • Be a positive, optimistic team player at all times.
  • Take risks.
  • Prepare for the boardroom.
  • Stay away from catfights unless you just want to add to the TV entertainment factor.
