Omarosa's Predictions and Observations...for Season Two
Check back each week for Omarosa's commentary!
Preview
As the new season of The Apprentice begins there are some notable changes to the show. Last season the show featured 16 contestants. This season two additional contestants were added. Not only does this mean that each team will have one additional team member to contend with it also means two more house mates to share the living quarters in the suite. With limited bathroom space between the 9 women the drama just may begin in the commode.
In the boardroom the addition of two contestants also means that each individual will have to fight to get his or her voice heard.
The interview process has been extended from 13 weeks to 15 with a bigger more dramatic finale inevitable.
Based on my preview of the Season Two contestants here are my observations...
There is a common theme "I am not here to make friends" (Sound familiar??) These contestants are smart not to allow their relationships cloud their judgment but have to be careful to alert their teammates to such an isolated attitude.
It is also very important to develop strategic partnerships (for example: Kwame & Troy). The contestants who do this will go very far. Watch for the relationships that emerge early in the game. They will be key to who makes it to the end.
The Women
The nine female contestants are an eclectic group, but there are some stand outs and some who I see as vulnerable.
Maria has great presence, speaks up for herself and has a unique look. (Perception is everything early in the game)
Ivana has captured the attention of DT with her name, and will sustain it with her sense of humor and strong presence. She comes across as very capable.
As an attorney, Jennifer M. is an effective communicator which should come in handy when negotiating with her team mates and trying to survive the board room.
Jennifer C. knows New York and is outspoken and feisty. Her knowledge of the city will be an asset to any team that she is on and her no-nonsense New York attitude will help her survive the backstabbing.
The women who may be vulnerable--
Pamela may be vulnerable as a result of her quirky personality. In the close quarters of the suite her attitude could irritate her cast-mates.
Stacie J. comes across as very emotional. This could make her become an object of annoyance to her teammates. If she does not keep her emotions in check she could crack under the pressure.
The Men
Male Standouts
Raj-I like his big personality and his flair for drama. He will be around if for nothing else but to entertain.
Bradford-I like his approach to the game and maturity.
The men who may be vulnerable--
Kelly may find the organizational dynamics of the game to be restrictive and he may come across to his teammates as bossy and hard to work with. He may also intimidate his cast-mates, which could lead to them to try to remove him.
John may be way too volatile for the game. If he flies off the handle to win the task he may lose the confidence of his team as a leader.
THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR...
There is an advantage to being the first Project Manager. Trump likes contestants who are not afraid to take a risk and who step up to the plate and assume leadership roles.
On the flip side the Project Manager usually goes up on the block!
