Omarosa's Predictions and Observations...for Season Two

Check back each week for Omarosa's commentary!

Episode 9

No falling concrete.

The candidates met Trump at Trump Park Avenue and I must say that I was very pleased to see the candidates with their big yellow construction hats. My public service announcement: Always wear hardhats when you are on a construction site.

The teams were informed that they would be renovating a house in an effort to increase the home's value by the greatest percentage. The teams were given $20,000 on a Visa charge card. It is important to put the magnitude of this task into context. The teams were given just days to renovate a house. This process generally takes months to do and a massive amount of manpower. The candidates were faced with the tenuous combination of time constraint and limited funds.

As a result of these obvious restrictions DT brought back the first four fired candidates to assist with the renovations. (As if being humiliated the first time wasn't enough). Rob, Bradford, Jen C. and Stacie J. were back in the game. The look on Ivana's face when Stacie J. entered the frame was priceless. Drama was sure to ensue with the lingering resentment between this cast of characters and the unique dynamics that this working arrangement would cause.

Back at Trump Tower, fiery Jennifer C. gave Ivana one last tongue lashing - if just for old time's sake. But the battle to end all battles was Stacie J.'s confrontation with Ivana. Wow, that was the best exchange of the whole show. Way to go Stacie!! Too bad it was too little, too late... if Stacie would have fought that way in the boardroom during her firing, Trump may have fired someone else.

Sandy was selected to serve as project manager of Team Mosaic. She knew that she would have to do an impressive job, as real estate is a staple of the Trump Empire. Sandy ran her task like she was organizing a Manhattan socialite's premiere wedding event -- even shedding tears over her anxiety about the end result. Andy proved to be the savior for this team (again)! Andy scored a contractor family who brought lots of energy and manpower, which allowed Mosaic to soar to completion.

Team Apex was faced with an equally rundown home. As project manager, Raj was in charge of determining which major renovations would be made. Raj determined that a bathroom needed to be added to the second floor. Unfortunately, he wanted to do so by removing one of the upstairs bedrooms. This decision baffled everyone. Anyone remotely involved with the real estate arena knows that this was a critical error. And to think, Raj comes from a real estate background.

But that was just one of Raj's many mistakes. Raj left the important task of identifying a contractor to do the actual renovations to Kevin. He did not feel confident in the contractor but due to the time restrictions he had very little choice but to proceed. Contractors have to be managed and Raj did not do a good job at that. In the end, team Apex did a raggedy job on their renovation. They just had to hope that Mosaic did equally as terrible.

The most comical aspect of this task was watching the appraisers go through the team's newly renovated homes. Sandy did an excellent job in the presentation of the team's final result. She presented the one element that eluded Raj, the ability to add a bathroom without removing a bedroom.

Raj not only showed his unfinished bath, but his team also did not focus on overall presentation of their space. The team failed to look at their home as a product that had to be presented and sold. It's much easier to present a product that is pleasing to the eye and salesmanship becomes the top priority. Raj's charm was lost on the appraisers.

The results were announced during the task resolution in the boardroom. Apex had increased the value of their house by 7.14% while Mosaic increased their home's value by 10.26%. Trump wanted to get to the bottom of the renovation fiasco. But first he praised Stacie J. for the hard work that she contributed to the task. Ivana could not help but throw salt into Stacie J.'s moment of redemption. She had the audacity to point out negatives in Stacie's performance on the task. Trump put Ivana in her place, calling her comments "nasty" -- and to think, he was being polite. Trump and his advisors will not soon forget Ivana's behavior in the boardroom.

In the end Raj decided to bring Kevin and Ivana back into the boardroom. His strategy was questioned by all. Chris did not miss the opportunity to make a fool of himself by airing the team's dirty laundry. Trump informed Chris that he would have to demonstrate a better way by being project manager the following week.

Back in the boardroom, Trump and Raj looked like caricatures of each other. Trump was sporting a bowtie (a Raj trademark) and Raj was sporting a pink silk tie (a Trump trademark). Things were certainly getting a bit twisted. Even though Raj dressed to impress, it did not help in the end. Trump fired him for his many mistakes.

This did not deter Raj from trying to score a date with Trump's receptionist, Robin. She too rejected the "bowtie bandit".
