Omarosa's Predictions and Observations...for Season Two
Check back each week for Omarosa's commentary!
Episode 6
Party Animals, Super Model Divas and the BIGGEST engagement ring I ever saw in my life!
I am responsible for providing commentary pertaining to each week's task. This week, I was caught slacking on the job. No, I was not playing basketball with the neighborhood kids or napping with my infamous satin eye cover. Instead of my normal routine of watching the show from my hotel room while on the road for an appearance or cuddling up with my hubby at home, I was in the Big Apple partying with… THE DONALD!!!
Donald Trump (DT) hosted a viewing party to celebrate the Fashion Episode. And let me tell you, "The Donald" knows how to throw a party. The swank event was held at the club Pressure in New York City.
There was a red carpet with tons of photographers. Believe it or not, I actually get terrible butterflies in my tummy each time I have to "work" the red carpet. But I was in a frisky mood that night so I really had fun flirting with the cameras.
After exiting the red carpet, several camera crews were there and wanted sound bites. Here are a few of the questions that they asked and my responses…
Question 1: Omarosa, are you excited to be here tonight?
My Response: Yes!! It's always fun to hang out with other people who share the unique experience of being fired on national television. It's kind of therapeutic. LOL
Question 2: Omarosa, who are you excited to see from season one tonight?
My Response: George, of course!! George is my favorite Trump Executive! He is a really fun guy. He kept us laughing throughout the taping. He was firm when he had to be and fair when you needed him to be. He has a great spirit and I can't wait to see him again tonight at this party.
(*George was a no-show so I was a bit bummed)
Question 3: Omarosa, which of the season two contestants are you excited to meet?
I want to meet them all. I want to meet Rob because I think he got a bum rap. I want to meet Pam because she is such a firecracker like me! I want to meet Jennifer C. because it seems to me that she is going through a lot since her exit from the show and I know what that's like. I want to meet Bradford just to say, "Dude, are you for real-waving your immunity?" LOL
I walked in to the party and was introduced to Miss Jennifer C. We greeted each other as if we've known each other forever. I walked a little further and I was stopped by several beautiful models who wanted to take photos.
The surprise of the night was running into Kate White, the editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine. Kate and I first met last year while taping The Apprentice 1. We have since stayed in touch and I was happy to have some time with her at the party. She is smart, beautiful and tough! My hero!! For sure.
With just ten minutes 'till the show was set to come on, I was hurried into the VIP room where we were to be seated for the viewing. I walked in as DT arrived. He greeted me warmly and I complimented him on how dashing he and Melania looked. (Not kissing up, just stating the facts.) Melania looked absolutely stunning and the ROCK on her hand nearly blinded me. That is the biggest engagement ring I have ever seen. I guess that's what you get when you have a billionaire for a fiancé.
As I moved towards the seating area, I saw Kwame Jackson. He gave me his normal Kwame greeting, a hug, a smile and then he flashed a small digital camera in my face. I think he was documenting the party for a show or something. He told me that he started a men's fashion line and that he was wearing a jacket from his line. He must have been inspired by me or maybe he's trying to compete with Mr. Trump, who has also designed a line of men's suits.
I could hear Heidi Bressler before I actually saw her. Heidi Bressler and Katrina Campins were seated on the couch next to Melania and DT.
We hugged and started gossiping like schoolgirls. Everyone shushed us as the episode was preparing to start.
Minutes before the intro of the show, Rob from season two came over and sat next to me on the couch. No one told me that he was so cute!! I hugged him and we hit it off instantly. He is such a smart guy with a wonderful personality. He reminds me so much of my good friend Troy McClain from season one. In fact, they could be brothers.
Moments later, Pamela joined us on the couch. She looked refreshed and was dressed in a very trendy outfit.
When "For the Love of Money" by the O'Jays started playing, the room quieted down just a little and I could barely hear a thing. We were all glued to the screen and cheered every time someone who was at the party appeared on the screen. All of the models were there, the designers and the head of the Trump Model Management.
In between commercials, I got to chat with Paula, the head of the Miss Universe organization, several reps from Trump Model Management and fellow contestants from seasons one and two, as fans and onlookers came over to take pictures and to get autographs from all of us.
Towards the conclusion of the event, we were given gift bags filled with Apprentice season two goodies. The bag included a Magic Eight Ball, a Zagat New York City shopping guide and a copy of Trump's magazine with the season two contestants on the cover.
As the episode came to a close, we all braced ourselves as Trump got ready to deliver his famous line. We all screamed "YOU'RE FIRED!!" at the screen and laughed a sigh of relief. Secretly, we were all pleased that it was John and not any of us taking that dreadful taxicab ride again.
